Hillsboro Dining Set - Buylateral

Very poor quality. I used the directions just as it said and first off the middle screw it to short to do anything. Second after the 2nd Tim of my 50 lb daughter sitting on a chair it completely broke. Where it broke you could see it was a manufactured defect. If I could return it I would but I don’t have the box anymore. I would NOT recommend

The table is nice and sturdy but the chairs are not good quality. Six months out from buying this set and the chair legs are spreading apart. I can bend them back in but eventually that’s going to not work and it’s just going start to break. Maybe good for young adults. I don’t see how these chairs are supposed to work long term for adults who use them every day. The table, so far is great. Not the chairs.

I’ve been using this set for about five months. The chairs feel quality and are pretty comfortable. They don’t wobble, and the screws have stayed tight. However, they were fairly challenging to assemble. They were delivered in a L-shaped box (the shape of the seat), which made me worried that they could have easily broken in transit if weight was put on the wrong point. Thankfully, no pieces arrived damaged. The table is much less sturdy. The top wobbles while the base stays in place, so it seems like they screws haven’t stayed tight or can’t be tightened enough. I think glue would help, but I want to be able to disassemble the table in the future. The table and base are pretty weighty. The surface has stained a little bit. I got this set on sale, and to me, it was worth the value I paid to get a set that matches my yellow dining room.

Love this cute and comfortable table and chairs

This is a beautiful apartment size kitchen table and chairs. It was very easy to put together. The yellow chairs are a vivid yellow color. It looks great in my daughters apartment!

I would give this Hillsboro dining set 4 Stars but one of the chairs was damaged where your thigh goes and potentially can cause a cut. Trying to contact Target on that. It seems like it’s made of a seamless high quality MDF for the tabletop and chairs. Hopefully the splintered 1” 1” area on the bottom edge of the chair will be ok. I don’t want to hassle with a chair return unless they send me a new chair. Nice looking set otherwise but make sure the chair screws are tightened appropriately or the chair will wobble and recheck after using awhile. I can recommend this set for excellent value and style. Not optimal for people that weigh 200+ pounds. Best for below 200 lbs. Just my observation/opinion.

This table is so amazing, I would give it 10 stars! I had no idea the quality when I ordered it. I expected something like acrylic that wouldn’t last long, but no! Its really heavy, solid wood composite. Easy to build, and the rubber feet on the bottom of the chairs are a favorite too! Really impressed by this set, and I would highly recommend it!

Perfect for our small dining area! Comfortably seats our family of 4. Love love love the yellow chairs. Super unique and retro vibe. It’s very easy to clean which is a huge bonus with kids. Assembly was easy for me (30 minutes maybe?).

Nice finish on everything .

We have a black cat and a gray cat, so our old white fabric dining room chairs have seen better days. We wanted something modern, simple, and--above all--easy to clean. This set fits the bill. I like the diner feel and everything is super easy to wipe clean. One of the chairs doesn't sit flush to the ground, but you get what you pay for. Really easy to put together and perfect for anyone who wants a simple, modern look.
