Guests are saying
This sunscreen is highly effective in protecting against sunburn, especially for those with sensitive skin, including babies and toddlers. However, it has several drawbacks, such as being difficult to apply and remove, causing dryness, and occasionally leading to rashes. Guests appreciate its sun protection capabilities but are concerned about its texture and potential skin reactions.

Not Pure & Simple
It feels gritty, thick & sticky. I would not put this on my baby :( The zinc oxide is fine but the remaining ingredients are frightening!

Great Mineral Sunscreen!
I have tried several mineral sunscreens this summer (Blue Lizard Sport, Blue Lizard spray, and Hello Bello baby) and this one (Coppertone Pure and Simple baby) is the best. It’s lightweight and not greasy. I even use it under my makeup. Since it’s tear-free, it doesn’t burn my eyes. It is the only one I’ve tried that has not caused a white cast. It’s a perfect consistency and rubs in easily. It’s also not as expensive as some of the others. Definitely recommend!

Best sunscreen for sensitive skin
I have struggled for years to find a sunscreen that doesn't make my face feel like it is fire. Coppertone Pure and Simple baby is the best one I have come across. It is easy to put on, but remember a little bit goes a long way. It takes longer to rub in, but all mineral based lotions do. I put this on an hour prior to going to the beach and reapply once during a 4 hour beach trip in south Florida . I barely get a tan, but that just shows how well this sunscreen works. Unlike water based lotions, which his one stays on your skin when in the water, and you will notice it.

Not great
I’m not sure if this is just because it has clean ingredients but it’s very greasy and leave a cast

Terrible white cast and overly greasy shine
Works well for sensitive skin, but has a very bad white cast. Takes a very long time to rub in, and on darker skin tones it might not work. Leaves skin looking shiny and greasy, and pills in the water a bit.

Contact Dermatitis friendly
Every other sunscreen I try triggers contact dermatitis. This is my go-to body sunscreen. It has a terrible white cast (even on my pasty ghost skin), but it doesn't leave me with a miserable, itchy body.

Works Great But Not Worth It For Anything Else
So the good of this product is that it works amazingly at what it’s supposed to do - protecting your skin from the sun. My husband, two little ones, and myself all used it. We didn’t experience any issues with rashes etc even on our youngest who has extremely sensitive skin. With that said, everything else about this was awful. Difficult to apply and rub into skin. And an absolute NIGHTMARE to remove. No exaggeration my skin was greasy for 4 days after using, and that’s with swimming in pool, multiple showers, scrubbing, etc. We applied to our kids while they sat in the (new) SUV trunk and it left a stain on the bumper of it where it had dripped. Still there almost a year later even after car washes etc. While I appreciate that it protected us from the sun, it just isn’t worth it for us! Going with another brand/type now.

Good Stuff!
I love this sunscreen! I've been using Coppertone for years on my skin and my kids. I trust I'm getting the best sun protection. It's difficult to remove and I'm perfectly fine with that because I'm happy knowing my skin is protected with full zinc. I'm not looking for sun protection short cuts. This is a great product.

Do not recommend this product.
Do not buy this sunscreen. After using it, I broke out in a terrible, irritating, itchy rash that has lasted a week so far. I have never had a reaction like this to a product. It is also terribly drying to the skin and leaves behind a drying, uncomfortable film for days that is hard to get off, even with multiple showers. I wish I never used this product, because this rash reaction is really uncomfortable.

Rash - bad inactive ingrediants
I purchased this because it was mineral sunscreen and cost less than the other mineral sunscreens. I was In a rush and didn’t look at the inactive ingredients. I should have known by just looking at the brand that there is nothing pure & simple about this. My daughter has sensitive skin and her entire body was a red rash within two hours of using this.

Harmful ingredients
Contains harsh chemicals, such as silicones that are harmful to the environment and individuals. Opt for a more natural sunscreen to protect your babies from the sun and complex harmful ingredients.

Perfect for sensitive eyes
I have eczema and very sensitive eyes. This is the only sunscreen I’ve found that is affordable that I can use on my face. I blend it with a makeup brush (which also works really well with toddlers and babies). I use a makeup remover to remove it at night. I live in the sunny desert so I usually need to reapply it which makes it even harder to remove - but it melts right off with a cleansing balm (I use pondscold cream). Yes it has parabens but please Remember they are antibacterial and antifungal so your product will last longer with less contamination and it DOESN’T STING EYES👏👏 and can actually help eczema.
