Blue Lizard Kids Mineral SPF 50 Sunscreen Spray offers powerful but gentle sun protection in a convenient spray for children’s sensitive skin. This broad-spectrum UVA/UVB SPF 50 protects your child’s skin from 98% of UVB rays so they can enjoy their time in the great outdoors. Spray and rub into skin for mineral sun protection that is easy to use and dries clear, so you don’t have to worry about their SPF showing. This adventure-ready spray is customer-tested to feel great on your kids’ skin. Blue Lizard spray sunscreens are enriched with skin-nourishing ingredients, which leave skin feeling smooth and not sticky. This formula contains an especially kid-friendly blend with skin-conditioning Blue Algae. Our Kids Spray Sunscreen has 80 minutes of water resistance, so kids’ skin stays protected longer. Our formula is Zinc Oxide-based, so it provides broad-spectrum protection without chemical sunscreen active ingredients or airborne Titanium Dioxide. It’s a vegan formula, free from parabens, fragrances, and drying alcohols, making it ideal for sensitive skin. We Love the Reef: This sunscreen is made without Oxybenzone or Octinoxate to help protect fragile reef ecosystems. The propellant also has ultra-low global warming potential (GWP). Directions: Shake well before use. Adults and children over 6 months of age: Spray liberally and spread evenly by hand 15 minutes before sun exposure. Hold container 4 to 6 inches from the skin to apply. Do not spray directly onto face. Spray on hands then apply to face. Do not apply in windy conditions. Use in a well-ventilated area. Avoid inhaling or exposing others to spray. Reapply after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating. Reapply immediately after towel drying. Reapply at least every 2 hours. Sun Protection Measures: Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. To decrease this risk, regularly use a sunscreen with a Broad Spectrum SPF value of 15 or higher and other sun protection measures including: limit time in the sun, especially from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m.; and wear long-sleeved shirts, pants, hats, and sunglasses. I bought the Blue Lizard Sun Spray for my 8-year-old, and it ran out in less than a week. That’s disappointing. I used it as directed and didn’t expect it to be empty so quickly. When sprayed onto the skin, it comes out white. However, it does become invisible after rubbing it. It does not have a scent nor does it leave a sticky residue on your hands. The kids mentioned that it made their skin feel soft and velvety. It’s a little on the pricey side but I don’t mind it. Definitely does its job really well.

The packaging is really nice very mat and the water resistance was pretty good. I’d say around 45 minutes with the kids in the water so I just applied every hour or so.

It doesn't have a strong alcohol scent which is a huge benefit. Goes on evenly and super water resting. We are super happy with the product and the clean ingredients too!
