A: Slice all raw meats frozen. Typically from 10- 27 Degrees. A clean consistent slice requires that raw meats be frozen. Raw, warm product will move when sliced making it impossible to maintain a consistent slice

Just what I was looking for
I really like this food slicer. So far is working great for what I wanted it for. I like to smoke turkey breast and beef to make my own deli style lunch meats and this has worked great for that. I also use it for slicing cheese. It is simple to use and easy to take apart to clean. I' d recommend for sure.

We bought this slicer primarily for homemade bread. So far, it does an excellent and quick job of an entire loaf. Before we purchased this, we were using a little manual slicer with measured slots, and this new electric one takes about one tenth of the time! Highly recommended,

Meat Slicer- Not.
I have had this unit for about 3 years. I use it maybe once a year to slice my bacon that I make. I have needed to replace the drive gear on it twice now. I was all set to slice this year's batch which is only about 10 pounds of pork. Took one partial slice, and it burned out AGAIN.

Great slicer!
Bought this slicer to primarily slice my sourdough bread! Success! It does a great job. Easy to wipe down and light enough to put away without a problem. Only issue we saw was that it is a little loud.

I was mildly surprised at the quality of this food slicer! It is compact in size and is easy to operate and clean. I recently purchased a Cuisinart bread maker and this slicer cuts the bread so well. I was told the slices of bread were "magazine quality"!!!!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this product.

Not bad for the money
Not as loud as some of the reviews I got to see online. Blade spins way slower than expected. I guess is ok as I am using it for basic home use. I will need more practice with it and see how it works out. Not knocking it down as it is still a good brand at a great value. Took it for a spin today and sliced some hard chorizo from Spain to lay on my pizza in lieu of pepperoni. Also sliced some yucca to fry it as yucca chips to be dipped. I'm sure I'll find something else to try it on . . .

Dream machine for cutting bread
Extremely easy to use. Basically turn it on, select cutting size and go. I make lots of sourdough bread and got so tired of trying to cut decent slices. Now I easily cut even thinner sandwich size slices. Very easy to clean. This is my dream bread cutting machine.

I bought this slicer specifically for my homemade breads and it is really doing the job. It slices through the crunchy, thick crust of my sourdough breads.
