Bought this for outdoors but can be used indoors too that's how nice and attractive it is. Wasn't difficult to put together. Make sure you follow the directions and don't tighten the screws until it's put together. The bar is heavy. Two people need to carry it to move it. I used Tong Oil to preserve the wood from the elements.

Looks great for the first few months and the frame is very sturdy, but when left on a patio in the elements, things fall apart quickly. The finish on this bar is painted on (not a stain). and will begin peeling and chipping during the first season. Also, since the unsealed wood is then exposed to humidity and rain, the bar top warps, leaving an uneven surface for drinks. Would recommend for a covered, humidity controlled environment, but not a patio

Top boards started flaking and warping within a couple months...now 2nd summer after being fully covered all winter ...worse...can’t even use.

We are very happy with our patio bar.! It’s very sturdy and easy to put together if you follow the instructions.

This is defiantly a 2 person job, if you want to get it assemble quickly, but 1 person can do the job just fine. Once i finished putting it together, the overall bar and chairs looks great, and very sturdy. There were a couple of scratches on the metal, but nothing obvious. Great bar with ample space to entertain.

This bar looks great. However, we did have to have someone assemble it for us. He's a professional, and it didn't look like he was having an easy time of it. That's the only drawback, otherwise it looks good.

We had minor problems with the chairs that I think were more of a fluke, however, customer service took care of it easily. The bar itself went together easily and we love it. i have seen some reviews that said it was difficult to put together. We did not find that to be the case. I particularly like the shelves as they are made of the same wood as the rest of the bar. As you can see into the back of the bar from our kitchen, I like that it looks nice from all angles. It's perfect for where we put it and we are very happy with it.

This bar set was the best looking I could find for the price. However, when I started assembling it I realized why. The quality control of manufacturing this is non existent. One of the predrilled holes on the chairs was way too small for the bolt to fit through so I had to redrill it myself. Then when assembling the bar I could not get the pieces to line up because one of the welded tabs was welded on at an angle instead of straight. I had to pound the front piece in just to get it to fit under the tab it was supposed to be bolted in. Once this was finally complete, I tried threading in the bolt but the hole on the tab of the side piece and the threaded hole on the front piece were so far misaligned there was absolutely no way I could get it to work. I called Target and without hesitation they ordered a replacement. When the replacement arrived (after the manufacturer lost the order and couldn't find it for a few days) the welded tab was on straight but the hole on the side piece and the threaded hole on the front piece still did not line up. It was close enough though that I was able to drill out the hole wide enough to make it work. Oh and I tried calling the manufacturer about 6 times and could never get through to anyone. It is a shame that the quality control is so horrendous because the product looks great, but based on my experience I would not recommend this to anyone.
