Overall, a sturdy and nice looking bed. Easy to put together. Only complaint is that the finish was chipped in two places although the shipping box was not damaged, so we feel that it was packed that way. Otherwise, we a very happy with this purchase.

Ordered online at decent prize with discount and promo code, thought it was a great value and pictures looked good online. expected delivery was the 26th and it arrived 5 days earlier on the 21st. so far so good. Upon opening the 1st box out of 3 package the headboard frame was cracked at 2 edges and the CORK holding the headboard together was out of a socket on one end and completely broken on the other end . nothing was holding the headboard together . even if it had arrived intact, I suspect the CORK holding the bed together would snap as soon as my son would have jumped on the bed. I did not bother opening the other 2 boxes I returned it for full price in store a few days later, no questions asked as soon as I told them it was broken on arrival. for that price i expected much better design and quality, I did not expect high end but at least up to par with other major store. IKEA sells a similar trundle for much cheaper and at least I know what I am paying for.
