This is a cute, small nightstand. It's particle board and MDF, so it's much lighter in weight than real wood. I was 50/50 on it when we put it together - it felt kind of cheap - especially for being over $100. We ended up keeping it (because I recycled the box) and it's growing on me. It's not that it isn't cute, I think it's more quality for the price. For just over $100 - and for how small it is - I would've expected a bit more.
