Motion AND light sensing
I bought this light install inside of a cabinet. When I tested it out on “Auto” it didn’t seem to be working. I call customer care and they explain if there is too much ambient light, it won’t activate the sensor. I took it into a dark closet and sure enough, it lit up just fine on Auto.

Pros:::: the adhesive on the magnet seems quite good ; the light goes on and off very well ;; goes off quickly when you leave; ; the lumens are low but adequate for basic needs Cons::: the unit slides around on the magnetic part but if you don't touch it it should just stay put,,, so I'm not sure it would do very well if you're just trying to use the manual setting ;; the little instruction sheet that comes with it is very deficient..… it doesn't tell you how long the light stays on after you go away ;; it says nothing about the fact that it slants up and down (which doesn't even work very well :: it always pops right back up to the straight position) ;; and there's a tiny little screw included ; you're supposed to be able to attach the unit to the wall but there's absolutely no instructions about that and I haven't the slightest idea how this little screw can go into the wall.....

Great hall light for the price!
Perfect for areas with no outlet. We just used the tape on the magnet to stick to the wall- works as intended. Our hallway is narrow so the 15 foot sensor doesn’t work great- but good enough for the kids at night to be confident it will come on if they need to get up to use the bathroom. We just switch them off during the day so they dont come on and waste the battery- back on at bedtime.
