I love the color of the wood grain finish (its a bit more grey in person, which I love for my style). It was a little tricky to put together but not so bad that I wouldn't recommend you buy. Its held up well in my living room. I love the lower shelf for extra storage and it is kind of hidden at the lower level. Overall I am very happy with this purchase and it will be moving with me until it breaks.

The other reviewer is right, this table is a very cool, gray woodgrain finish (but not actual wood). That was what I was hoping for, so I am very pleased! The assembly instructions were not clear, but it isn't difficult to figure out. All of the necessary pieces were included, and the necessary holes were drilled properly, save for some of the starter holes for the table tops, which didn't quite line up. The important ones in the metal frame all lined up perfectly, and the table does not wobble. Complete assembly took my fiance, who is rather practiced at assemble-yourself furniture, under one hour. Once assembled, the piece is very sturdy, and has a good weight to it (doesn't slide around on the rug). I think it is a very attractive centerpiece to my living room, and definitely worth what I paid for it.

Unfortunately, the color of this item is VERY different than it photographs and is described here online. The wood color is actually grey, a very cool color. It is not a warm, natural color at all. Unfortunately now I'll have to pack back up and return!
