Horizon Entryway Bench - Proman Products

This bench is unbelievably sturdy -- it's made out of substantial, solid metal -- and requires no assembly! It's just the right size for the entryway of my studio apartment. It's not meant to be comfortable seating, but it is the perfect place to sit for a moment to put on or take off shoes. The boot storage underneath is a nice bonus.

Perfect in every way! Compact and versatile!

I bought this item for our home’s front entrance to match the existing coat rack. The quality is exceptional for the price point. It is minimalistic but functional, which fits into our Scandinavian/mid century style.

This bench is tiny but mighty. I'm using it in the narrow space in my garage next to my car, and it's perfect for storing shoes you want to keep outside. It'll be easy to clean too. I docked a star b/c there was a slight wobble and I had to shim a leg to stabilize the bench.

…And the reviews got me. I paid $70 for a bench and while that sounds insane…I love it. Sturdy/well built, well painted, nice minimal style, no assembly needed at all, and it fits for where I wanted it.

There are not many options for a bench w/shoe storage this narrow and I was thrilled to find it. I hesitated at the high price but good reviews snd dimensions swayed me. The first one received was very wobbly, the whole thing must have been bent - too be honest not too surprising given it’s made out of some kind of light metal bars bent to form the bench. I tried again and ordered a replacement, this had a big chip and it showed the thinness of the paint. It also wobbled a bit. If this were $20 the quality might be okay, but definitely not in the $70 range.

I ordered this sweet little bench because the dimensions were perfect for my Brooklyn apartment and it was decent enough looking online. Now that it is here I absolutely love it! It exceeded my expectations by A LOT. I love that it is more like a powder coated finish, with a little texture instead of smooth and shinny -- this definitely elevates it. And on the whole it looks amazing in person - much better than in the photos. Also it comes assembled and in very simple packaging, so there is very little waste involved!

Much like anyone who cares enough to write a review for a shoe bench, I find myself perplexed that not only did I spend $70 for this when I could’ve gotten something much cheaper, but also that I’m giving it 5 stars. Yes, you can buy a cheaper crappy bench at Walmart. Yes, you will like this one better. Or you’ll think about it and wish you’d bought it instead. It fits perfectly in a tiny entryway. It is multifunctional for holding shoes and bags or for sitting. I cringed at the price too, but it is worth it to not break my arm tripping on my kids’ shoes.
