Easy assembly - even came with a crank for the screws which made things even easier! The bed is very sturdy and perfect for a boy’s room.

We were impressed how everything came nicely and securely packed in one big box. The instructions are clear and easy. My wife and I were done putting it together in less than an hour. It looks beautiful. The metal structure combined with the wood, it gives that industrial yet modern and sleek look. There’s no need for a spring box. We had a memory foam mattress that fits perfectly with the bed frame. I highly recommend this brand. It’s great quality at a very affordable price. You’ll be impressed too.

Sturdy Bedframe
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Zinus - Suzanne Platform Bed with Headboard and Footboard was very easy to put together. The directions were straight forward and the pieces were labeled clearly. It took about 40 minutes to put together. The metal and wood combination brings out a nice contemporary touch to my guest bedroom. The wood slats on the bottom of the bedframe give support so a boxspring is optional. There are also two slats that have tape on them to hold the mattress in place so it doesn't slip. The only complaint I have is that the bedframe is extremely low to the ground when only having a mattress on top. If you add a box spring, it covers most of the headboard. I would only reccommend this product to someone that is okay with having a bed that's low to the ground. You would need a short nightstand if only using a mattress with this bedframe. Pros: Easy to assemble, pieces clearly labeled, contemporary look, non-slip tape to hold the mattress in place Cons: low to the ground, if using a boxspring, most of the headboard gets covered up

This bed frame surpassed all of our expectations. The quality seems great from the solid steel frame, the Velcro to hold the wooden slats in place. First of all, this bed frame is constructed with quality materials, it's strong design! no squeaks or loose areas! It gives a very strong foundation that fits our ticker mattress. It was very easy to assemble, we put this bed together in about an hour and had no trouble following the directions. They are excellent and easy to follow. The bed is exactly as pictured! sturdy, and beautiful! I personally love the color of the wood, it gives a classic and stylish look! The wood comes already sanded; no sharp or rough edges and looks very nice unfinished. The design is sleek and simple! Actually there's so much room underneath for storage, that can be used as you wish for your belongings. Definitely a great value.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bed is very well made , the Metal parts are very solid ,Wood panels are a decent size, thick and real wood .The construction of the frame and how it screws together seems well engineered and I was able to assemble the frame by myself in around a half hour. The way it's built, you can take it apart in a few bigger pieces without disassembling the whole bed, so moving it should be pretty straightforward and low hassle. Assembly instructions are very clear and the number of steps is pretty minimal. There's no creaking whenever the mattress moves.

Then you open the package up and the bed is nice, the color is a little lighter then I expected but it looks very nice. Once assembled and adding a mattress on top of this frame you quickly realize it is very sturdy.

Before getting this frame, I was using a traditional box springs and frame. I have wood floors and with my previous set up, the bed sat too high and I've actually hurt myself getting out of bed. Now I am so happy because this new frame puts me at a good height(I'm 5'4). Looks pretty and works great!

Really nice, sturdy bed for the price. We bought it for my son's new studio apartment and it looks like a nice piece of furniture! He assembled it without much assistance from me in 30 minutes or so (the only complaint is that the pieces were numbered but not lettered -- in the directions there were numbers and letters -- but it wasn't that hard to figure out). I was particularly impressed that the slats came in two accordion-style pieces and attached to the metal frame with velcro strips--no chance of them sliding around or falling through to the floor. An added bonus: one slat in each section had a peel-off strip that when taken off revealed a sticky area that holds the mattress in place--so no slipping!
My only complaint isn't about the mattress itself but the fact that I later found it on the manufacturer's website for almost $70 less than the Target sale price--but Target wouldn't match the price because it wasn't a retailer on their "match the price" list.
