Cook well in instant pot
Cooked well in my instant pot. I didn’t find any little stones or debris — they were pretty clean before I rinsed them. They cooked well into tender and flavorful chickpeas. They had a lot of froth/bubbles when I rinsed them — not sure what that means. Overall since they cooked great and taste great I have no complaints and have purchased these multiple times.

Bugs!!
I soaked the chick peas and a weavel floated to the surface of the water. I scooped it out and mixed up the peas and 3 other weavels floated up. I emptied the water and refilled it and more weavels floated up! I repeated 3 times with same results before I finally threw them out. After about 15 or so weavels, I decided I wasn't going to make weavel flavored hummus. lesson learned... buy chick peas at a grocery store where chick peas don't sit on a shelf for months.

dry beans good with anything
It's been a few months since I've cooked with dry garbanzo beans. I used half to make hummus and it turned out well and froze half of the beans. I might just use that to make either a soup or a salad.

Good Value
These chickpeas are bit on a smaller side but I've never had any issues with them. I soak them for at least couple hours or overnight and they look just like any other chickpeas you buy anywhere else. I really dont like using canned beans, so I always opt for dried instead. They taste much better. I use them to make, curry, soup, stews and much more. I do think Target should really consider offering organic beans in their line. I purchase alot of Good & Gather brand dry beans, rice and legumes. I would love it if there was organic dry bean options.

Lets Good & Gather
Could go on and on with each of the Good and Gather lineup of beans, legumes, grains etc., but I’m not. Suffice to say they are easy to like and glad they are being offered. 4.1 Stars.

Yuck
Weevils. Put them in a Ziploc as soon as I bought them and placed in my pantry. Some time later, i was organizing and discovered bugs? Weevils? All over in the bag

Look over the bag real good, before buying.
After buying these today, I went to soak them in water before bed, and unfortunately they had multiple little black bugs in them 😫 which I’m assuming is weevils? I instantly threw them away. This is my first time buying this brand of dried beans. Maybe just a bad batch? But definitely take a good look over, before purchasing.

Garbanzos have very good flavor and texture.
These garbanzos are good--tasty and with a nice texture. When I first bought these, I noticed that they were smaller than the other garbanzos I'd been buying. And they generally are not uniform in size. Even after swelling during over-night soak in refrigerator, the sizes are variable. However, the variable size does not affect the final product. The smallest and the largest have good texture. None becomes soft nor do any become overdone.

Off somehow
I like cooking dry beans since I control the sodium and it’s economical. However there is something funky about these chickpeas. They never turn out like others I have made and there are some that look like they’ve gone off (dark and shrunken).

Good quality and a good value (and who cares whether they're small!)
I've always had good results with Target-brand foods; over the years, I've bought cooking oils, beans, rice, pasta, nuts, raisins, and frozen veg. For most products, I've detected no difference between name-brand products and Target-brand or my local supermarket own-brand. (Nuts are the one exception -- Blue Diamond is better than the no-names, as are Planter's cocktail peanuts.) ............................................ Yes, the chickpeas are small, but I don't think that's an indication of lesser quality, and size absolutely doesn't matter when when one is serving or eating chickpeas. ............................................ Target, pls consider offering organic beans and legumes; my local organic market sells organic chickpeas for $2.49/lb, and if you can match that, you'll appeal to your budget-conscious shoppers as well as the increasing number of consumers who want non-GMO and/or organic food. Thanks.

Good!
The need to be soaked overnight for at least 10 hours if not 12. I got 4 bags and not 1 bad bean in any. I made a delicious soup with carrots celery onion and garlic with the garbanzo beans and it was delicious! Throw in some fresh dill and fresh lemon juice and it’s out of this world!

Terribly small beans will never buy again
These are the smallest beans I have ever scene. Avoid buying them unless in person and you are okay with the tiny beans.

Good quality
These are better quality than the grocery store brand (Kroger). I usually sort out very little junk. Making dry chickpeas is a process but so much cheaper and tastier than canned! I add bay leaves and garlic when I cook em. So good.
