Solid piece with easy assembly!
Seems like a solid piece of furniture. Fairly easy to assemble in about an hour by myself. I liked that the backboards were not flimsy cardboard. My one issue was that as although the boards on the back had pre- drilled holes, they had to be screwed into the other pieces that did not have holes and the middle did not meet correctly so I did not use those screws. At first I thought it was put on wrong but the holes matched up so it was correct. It’s not falling off, but it’s not as secure as it should be. Drawers are small but a good way to hide clutter and the magnetic cabinet will assure it actually stays shut!

Sturdy piece of furniture
Took about 2 hours to assemble with manual screwdriver. Everything was packaged and labeled well. Instructions were easy to follow. Beautiful piece. One thing I would change would be to add another shelf or 2 inside the door with different spacing options.

I got this item to add some much needed storage to our home. This cabinet fits our decor and is great storage addition. It is very solid and sturdy. I was able to assemble it on my own with no problems.

Cheap Piece of Garbage
Total piece of garbage. Too many pieces and too heavy to put back in the box and send back. Holes were drilled in the wrong places, cheap material etc. Lucky for me my husband is handy and used his own tools and screws to make it work but the cheap particle board kept breaking. You get what you pay for. If you or your spouse isn’t handy- I recommend buying something else.

Missing instructions but otherwise nice.
Instructions were detailed, except I was missing a full page (steps 3 and 4). I was extremely agitated when I couldn't find a link to them on target's website and had to search google - hence a 4 star review instead of 5. I did eventually find the instructions online (on the RiverRidge website) and was able to complete it. It looks nice and most of it is quite sturdy. The moveable shelf inside the cabinet has 1 flaw - it doesn't have grooves cut out for the shelf holders. It's just a slab of wood, so it slides around on the shelf holders instead of staying in place. This isn't a major issue for me so I didn't take away any stars for that.

It's a nice piece but the smell is terrible. Like synthetic wood/really strong paint smell. I have to keep the bathroom door closed at night even a week later after putting it together because the smell is so bad, I can smell it in my room which is a whole room away... ugh!!! I really hope it goes away as I can't return it now that it's all put together. Not happy with this piece of furniture.
