Much bigger than expected
The Learning Resources Jumbo Farm Animals made a great gift for my two year old. One of the highlights is how big these animals actually are especially the horse. These are high quailty and durable. I love that they can be easily cleaned with a wet cloth. These animals are the perfect addition to a sensory table, sand box or water table for imaginative play. One complaint I did have was it looked like each animal was in two pieces and gluded together due to their size. The glue seems strong but just doesn't look as asethically pleasing as I thought they would be. Nonetheless, my toddler still practicing the animals noises and pretend playing with them for large increments of time.

fun farm animal toys for toddlers
My toddler enjoys these big farm animal toys, but strong plastc smell and visible mold lines were disappointing. After washing and airing them out, they're okay. Despite the flaws, my child loves playing with them and they seem durable.

Should be better
My daughter loves these animals. However, they all have a seam through the middle where they were literally glued together. For the price, I would think they would look a whole lot better. Not to mention, they cannot be submerged for washing because the seam is not fully sealed and they fill with water.

I have been searching for large farm animals for my two year old that didn’t cost a fortune! These are great toys and a great price! They are softer than most animal figurines and the details are very nice! Highly recommend for anyone with kiddos who loves farm animals that doesn’t wanted to spend $12-$15 per animal.

Poor quality, Pricey garbage
Just like someone else wrote, these animals were poorly put together and chipped on arrival (also, it wasn’t just the farm animals, it was also the dinosaur set) It’s just unfortunate, I’ll be donating to a local daycare instead of gifting them.

Expensive paint smelling toys
These had an intense paint smell upon arrival so they are currently airing out. The quality is not what I expected for the price. As the other reviewer noted, paint smudges, big seams on the animals’ midsections, just not what I expected for $35. Haven’t decided yet if we’ll return them, we’ll see how hard it is to find a better alternative!

Great for young toddlers!
My 18-month old is obsessed with these animals! They are large and lightweight. They are not made of hard plastic but are still very firm. When we first opened the package they smelled overwhelmingly of plastic (not awesome) but after airing them out overnight the smell entirely dissipated. We really avoid plastic toys but wanted realistic-looking animals and most wood animals are quite abstract. Other plastic animal toys I looked at were much smaller and not approved for children under 3. These are a great choice for a younger toddler. They match the animals in the Noisy Farm and the Little Blue Truck books well.

For the price I expect higher quality. These animals ‘squish’ and are not solid like smaller ones. The cow came with scratches and paint smudges all over it. Quality does not reflect price.

Great for our toddler (21 months)
Our 21 month old LOVES these. They are big enough to not be choking hazards. They are the right combination of hard and a little soft to feel heavy and sturdy but not brittle. He has been slow to speak and we got these to reinforce animal sounds we have been teaching. He started doing them all as soon as these came out of the package. We are planning on adding the other animals in the series bit by bit. Highly recommend!

Kind of pricey but My 16 months old daughter loves these animals, especially the cow and horse. They are bigger than expected and she can hold them easy. Material is soft so I don’t worry because she can’t hurt herself. Definitely recommend!
