Q: Could this be used for an above ground pool; when it would sit on the deck and the pool is below the deck? Also how is it grounded on the deck?

  • A: Yes, I've used them before on my pool which has a deck built around it. I suggest an outdoor carpet on the deck that you put the slide on to prevent it from getting a hole. It's not grounded.

Great slide

The first one we bought was leaking air in the middle slide part but Intex promptly replaced it and for the last 3 weeks, the grandchildren have been using the new one without incidence. Heavy duty slide. We also have a seat float that my husband ues and it's heavy duty and was a great buy. Our grandchildren, 3, 6, 7, and 9 are loving it. Intex stands by their products.

Leaky Port Makes for Poor Hose Connection

The port where the hose connects to the slide is very poorly designed. Water pours out from there. I talked to a family member about this issue, as they have the Kool Splash Slide as well, and they noticed the same problem, just not as bad as mine. This causes the pool deck to flood and puddle quickly. We have been using the slide with no hose attached, which works when kids suits and bodies are wet, if we throw water up on the slide to wet it periodically. This is not the way the slide is intended to be used.

Not worth it

Was a lot of fun for about 5 minutes. Developed leaks right away that were difficult to patch. I ordered in March but did not take it out until June. Too late for warranty.

Very dangerous

This is very dangerous. If it’s gets off of the side of the pool, which it does a lot, it floats around and goes over the kids, blocks the view of the kids. You have to have an adult right at the float at all times. VERY DANGEROUS.

This is our 2nd year with a pool and our 2nd slide. Boys (10 and 8) love it. Slide, jump, do all the things. Only reason we had to buy a 2nd was how rough they were. Boys. For the price, cant go wrong.

Not a good product

This item is meant to be left set up which means it will be in the sun. In the heat, the plastic melts and creates a thick and rough coating that cannot be removed and reduces the slipperiness. It also looks awful. Pretty disappointed since it was expensive.

Good inflatable pool slide

Kids have a blast. Fairly sturdy but lasts only about 1 season so end up buying a new one every year. Wasteful but unfortunately after a few months they all end up getting holes and patches do not hold given the pressure it's under when people climb on it. Still recommend it because so far this is the best quality we've found online. Connects to a garden hose to sprinkler water on slide for smooth sliding! Worth it in my opinion.

Hole after 1st use

Got a hole in it the first use. BUT… it was still amazing fun. Multiple ways to play. We just kept adding air. Also, the sprinkler function sprays everywhere so you need a lot of space.

My kids love it!

My kids absolutely love the slide. I should have purchased this years ago. My kids are spending so much time in the pool, having a great time. Also, customer service is really awesome. I had a small tear in the slide and they replaced it, no questions asked. This is a must buy!!

They rip and pop easily at the seams not well manufactured. Warranty is good but have to send back damaged parts prior to shipping new one out and that takes 7-21 days and the summer is almost done
