Q: I bought this pool and can't figure out where to inflate the very bottom (part the kids sit on). I see a hole with a plug over it on the bottom, about an inch wide circle, but this looks like it is a drain plug. It looks different from rest. Thanks!

  • A: Thank you for your inquiry. I was able to find several videos online confirming that the large, clear plastic plug is for inflating the pool. I was able to find these walk through videos by searching "Intex Sunshade" and filtering for videos.

  • A: I watched videos and none show the actual floor section being inflated. I called Intex and was told Target's description may be incorrect. Intex does not even show that this floor is inflatable in their own description of it. Additionally, the actual box it comes in does not state it has an inflatable floor. Has anyone actually inflated the floor section? I believe this pool does not have an inflatable bottom. The sun shade pool I have has a white background color behind the fish (I bought from Target and got just what the pic shows), not clear as some other pics online. Thanks again for trying to help me figure out if this description is an error. I believe it is. Thank you.

Received wrong color/design

Others are saying the top canopy doesn’t stay up, that isn’t technically true. You must use an electric air pump for it and make sure it’s very full so it stays up. My only negative response to this purchase is that it was a different color and design when I received it. (I purchased it for a boy with yellow, I received a purple design with princess animals)

Easy indoor fun in the winter

This pool makes a great indoor fort and ball pit. Useful for cold winter days. We also have some of the balls to convert it to a ball pit. The top detaches, which is another bonus.

This pool is perfect for my 1 year old to splash around in. Big enough for me to sit in there with him and the shade is awesome! Would highly recommend. It's sturdy and great quality

Great Little Pool

Great little pool for my granddaughter! She is 4 and a half years old and lives across the street from me. Since we are doing our part to stay home ..... and hot temps ... she loves coming over to cool off and get outside with me and my french bulldog. Great little pool that has easily attachable top for some shade.

Not bad, but not great quality. Needs to be inflated often and the roof part comes off very easily. But it is a cheap kiddie pool, and an adult can fit in it as well. Good enough to cool off in and easy enough to inflate.

Fabulous kiddie pool

Bought this pool for our 2, two year old granddaughters. It is fabulous!!! The cover is so nice to keep the sun off our little ones. The plug for easy draining is great! Easy to inflate and assemble the Velcro covering. Seems to be very sturdy. The girls love it!!! Some of the older grandchildren also enjoy it!!! This pool is a winner!!!!

Cute and spacious pool, but difficult to inflate and doesn't hold air well. An exhaust vacuum like a shop-vac is required to inflate the base, and there is enough leakage that this must be done daily. The top is easy to inflate, but two out of the three compartments also are flat by the end of the day. Wish I had saved the box, as I would love to return this!
