Well Designed
Exactly what I was looking for, strong and easy to install. I got this because I wanted a low maintenance strong durable gate and this kit checked all the boxes.

Worked so well I installed a second one!
I installed an Adjust a Gate about 3 years ago on our backyard fence and it has worked and held up so well I just bought another one and installed it on a new fence. The system is easy to put together and adjust.

Disappointed
Purchased kit to replace a 50" gate. Has no problem getting the hinges and frame installed. Cut the 2 x 4s to length and upon trying to install found that the brackets they fit into were 1/8 inch too small, therefore required trimmings of the ends to fit. What should have been a quick installation took much longer than expected.

We discussed the review internally here and wanted to determine the type of wood that you are using - if its pressure treated wood 2x4s these should have no problem fitting into the frame brackets. If you are using a softer wood - like redwood then you will have an issue with this wood being took thick. We are here to help you with your project so please let us know if you have questions. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the frame only. I'm covering it with chicken wire and hard wire. It will be replacing the flimsy gate that is on my chicken run. I'm just waiting till it gets warmer out to do that. It seems to be a heavy duty gate though.

However, it is super easy to build a strong square gate so it won’t sag! It would be perfect for an aging fence to help reinforce and regain more life in it

The gate doesn’t sag and you can use new boards or old boards with this kit. No more fighting with saggy fences and having to worry about replacing.

Great quality & easy to install

Very durable gate
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 7 foot adjustable steel gate is very well made and constructed from quality materials. It’s a very solid structure. Nothing flimsy about it! This gate is black in color with a smooth shiny finish. The included instructions are easy to follow and took little time to install. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone needing a durable barrier.

Probably easier to put together with some experience ....

Since it's in between my shop and a cedar tree, I had to do some experimenting and after a few trail and errors, I got it up and even, and finished up to match the fence next to it! So far, it's working as it should work zero issue!

Great kit for building gates
I'm glad I found this gate building kit. I put it up this weekend and it works great. I'm going to order two more for another double gate. Easy to assemble, install and works like a champ.
