Great idea that the kids love. But the company does not stand behind their product. At 4 months, the globe failed. We replaced the batteries to no avail. I contacted Leapfrog & tried again to reset , again to no avail. They told us it was likely a “hardware” problem but they do not repair & only replace during the first 3 months. So basically, “too bad”. Beware.

Serious Factual Error in a Children’s Educational Product
I was really disappointed to find a serious factual error in this LeapFrog product. The content states that Taiwan is part of China, which is not accurate and is an inappropriate claim for a children’s educational product. This is not a small issue. Parents buy LeapFrog because we expect learning materials to be carefully researched, factual, and neutral, especially in the U.S., where kids are forming their earliest understanding of geography and the world. LeapFrog should review its editorial process, consult credible sources, and correct or remove this content. Educational brands have a responsibility to teach children facts, not politically charged misinformation. And please also correct the spelling of "Taipei". It's "Taipei", NOT "Taibei". Pinyin is not adaptable among the gobal community. I hope the company addresses this quickly.
