I have multiple Miyabi knives, (including the OG 9.5” Chef Knife), but this is my 1st Birchwood handle. Everything about the knife is fine tuned and gorgeous. There are few knives I’ve used that I prefer, and none of which fall into the cost range of these. Seriously- I love these knives.

    Excellent super sharp knife.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s a beautiful knife. Very sharp. Sharpening is sometimes more difficult to get right due to the hardness of the metal. The handle has a nice feel to it but can feel a bit slippery at times. Overall a great knife. I personally prefer the utility knife design. I use it more than most of the other styles. The metal feels hefty and substantial so if you prefer lighter knives, this might not be a great fit. Retail price feels a bit more than I’d want for a utility knife but the quality makes it feel a bit more justified.

    Sharp, pretty, and useful.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Once you get the wooden handle treated with a little bit of oil, the knife becomes the center piece of your knife block. If you have a set of these knives, They might be the center piece of the kitchen if cared for properly. Oh and you get a lifetime warranty, so when you see the price, it's not for nothing. Oh, and you also get a lifetime warranty. That's part of the cost of these knives too.

    Amazing knife

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this knife from the balance to the design to the sharpness of the blade. This was a gift that I been wanting for awhile now. I don’t know if I want to show it off or hang it up but it’s no way I can’t use it first . Birch wood just makes it look even better. Miyabi steel is normally pretty solid so looking forward to getting this knife in the kitchen.
