Pacifica Rosemary Purify Shampoo - 12 fl oz

This shampoo smells really nice and calming plus it takes out all the residue from the products I use for styling! It’s also good for hair growth and the scalp! Highly recommend!

It’s a good shampoo and I liked the smell, but like the other reviews said the bottle leaks A LOT with every use and gets all over the place. I won’t be repurchasing and I wouldn’t recommend as you lose a lot of product for what you pay for

That it works! After feeling like I ruined my hair for over a year and being unsatisfied with the Prose, Olaplex, BrioGeo all leaving me greasy and dry immediately after washing. This has been my miracle in a bottle for my fine thin hair. Prone to sweat with high physical activity and bad environmental factors, this has been gentle enough for daily use.

I wanted a shampoo for scalp care without the harshness of an exfoliant. I normally love rosemary and/or mint shampoos and this product stated clarifying properties for scalp and hair. Unfortunately, it’s been horrible. My scalp hurts from the extreme folliculitis I developed after using this shampoo. The breakout is so painful it hurts to brush, style, tie back or even wash my hair and I’ll be seeing my doctor to determine if it’ll require an antibiotic.

The shampoo is AMAZING but the bottle sucks. I’ve considered buying a separate container to put it in but that just feels so wasteful. It’s a great product, but I fear the bottle does end up wasting a lot of the product. I hope Pacifica will consider changing the bottle so I can continue to love this product.

Love the product. Hate the bottle. Constantly drips and leaks. This is also not a super clarifying shampoo. I have pretty oily roots and it cleans my hair but does not make it feel dry.

The packaging makes this product completely unusable. It pools at the top and leaks forever, wasting so much product and creating a big mess. I love the shampoo, but can no longer support due to the bottle design

Hair loss. Dandruff. Sores on my scalp. Been using this for a few months and at first enjoyed it. Month three, and i am shedding hair like a golden retriever. I have terribly itchy scalp and some sores on my scalp. That is extremely unhealthy and nit a sign of a healthy scalp! I get oily the next day. Not buying again!!!

Gave me greasy hair, itchy scalp and hair loss. The smell is nice but otherwise it’s a total nightmare. I don’t recommend it.

I rarely leave reviews, but as someone who actually purchased this product with no incentive or freebie involved, I wanted to add my voice. I have shoulder-length, wavy, very thick hair. I had a ton of buildup at my roots, and extending three or four inches from the roots, after trying a disastrous hair "wash" product. My regular shampoo wasn't helping at all after multiple washes, and I didn't want to use something with sulfates and destroy my color. I found this shampoo and trust Pacifica. It worked perfectly. One shampoo, and all the oily yucky buildup is gone; my hair feels soft and even has fewer flyaways. I am grateful and plan to use this once a week going forward to clean things up.

My hair after using this shampoo is dry and extremely tangled. The shampoo also does not lather well. My scalp feels more itchy and has more buildup and dandruff than before using. Also am seeing an increase in hair loss.

Smells really good but my hair didn’t feel clean at all after washing. I hoped that it was just because it was gentle, but immediately after my hair air dried I was scratching my scalp and realized there was tonssss of build-up? Pretty nasty and my scalp has never had build-up like that from my previous shampoo. My scalp honestly felt dirtier after using this than before my shower lol. Had high hopes from the good reviews but this was a big let down

Its a great shampoo and I’m on my second bottle, however the packaging has some serious flaws. Both bottles have leaked considerably when in use causing a huge waste of product. Additionally, the cap has a sharp lip where you push the cap down thats cut my finger several times. Super frustrating.

We’ve used various formulations of Pacifica shampoo and conditioner for years, Rosemary Purify amongst our favorite. The product is as advertised; the shampoo bottle however is completely unsuitable. Since they redesigned the labels and bottle, the shampoo cap does not catch the threads secure enough for a tight seal and shampoo leaks out, puddling on the top ridge of bottle and then drips down, making a mess after EVERY USE. It’s wasteful, and I didn’t sign up to have to wash out the cap and bottle each time. Won’t be buying again. Do not recommend.

I’ve been using this shampoo for a few months now. I’ve tried every single dandruff shampoo on the market. I think it might be something I eat or stress because my dandruff will flare up sometimes and be terrible. I really like this shampoo for daily use. It is light and soothes my scalp. I won’t say it got rid of my dandruff though, but it helped. I used the other products from their dandruff line such as the charcoal scrub, the kombucha conditioner, and the apple cider tonic. All of them together work great, but I have to keep up with it weekly to keep my dandruff at bay. I don’t think the other products are sold here, but they are at Ulta. The reason I didn’t give a 5 star is due to the bottle. At first I thought I had a defective bottle, but no. Every bottle of this I’ve owned leaks from the lid around the sides. I opened up the lid to investigate and it is a design flaw. I think the lid doesn’t have enough of a seal when you flip it over to get the shampoo out, so shampoo gets trapped in the spaces along the side of the lid. Once that happens it starts to drip out of the sides of the lid. It is a bit annoying and definitely not a good shampoo to travel with because of this reason. But to have it like that in your shower isn’t a big deal.

I have really long, thick, curly hair that's been through a few lighting processes over the years. I have a hard time with some salon products as they make my hair really dry. I grabbed this because I noticed my scalp was changing with my hormones, and my hair and scalp starting to need washing more frequently. In the last 2 months that I've used this shampoo, my hair has been SUPER soft- super, satiny soft. And it smells really fresh, but not overpowering. It hasn't changed the length between washes, but it really makes my hair soft and clean. Highly recommend.

It works good for my hair, but is definitely drying. I would not use daily and you definitely need a hydrating conditioner. But it definitely helps my scalp feel fresh and renewed and has helped with my dandruff! (It usually gets bad during winter but using this helps so much! Also it does have a strong smell, kind of like tequila

When I first started using this shampoo about 1.5yrs ago, it worked so well leaving my hair so clean with better defined waves. For a while, the shampoo was out of stock everywhere. When I was finally able to get my hands on it again, the shampoo was different. It required (2-3x) more product to get the same clean in one wash day. Then I noticed my hair would feel greasy the next day with a lot of dandruff and lots of hairloss. So, I switched to a completely different brand/shampoo and my scalp is feeling better (less dandruff, not as greasy, much less hairloss). I don’t know what Pacifica did but they ruined the shampoo! I don’t trust any of their products.
