Fisher Price W2880 Thomas & Friends Ride On Tough Trike with Easy Grip Handles

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 3 year old son loves his Thomas & Friends™ Kid-Tough™ Trike. We actually use it inside right now since it's been cold and snowy. It pedals and maneuvers easily for him. He loved adding the stickers, making it all his. It seems like it will hold up well to outdoor use from what I can tell. Assembly was straightforward and simple for the most part. I only had a little issue attaching the fork. Took a few extra minutes but I got it. Overall, between the usability and ease of assembly, I do recommend the Thomas & Friends™ Kid-Tough™ Trike.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As soon as my son saw the box, he was going crazy. He is a huge fan of Thomas the Train. This bike was fairly easy to put together, my son was impatient for that part. He was cruising around it all over the house, the downside of living in Michigan in the winter but that didn't stop him. It was great fun for him and even his sister took turns. Very cute and made well.

This is the very first trike my son has used and so far he has enjoyed it every single day since it arrived. It arrived in pieces, so before my son could enjoy it we had to assemble it. Assembly was easy aside from one piece having to be shaved down a bit in order to fit properly. For some reason a front piece seemed to have some extra plastic, but fit perfectly after being shaved down a touch. My son loved putting the Thomas stickers on after assembly and seems to really enjoy the little storage space underneath the seat. This trike seems to be perfect for my son as it is not too difficult for him to use, yet provides hours of fun before he moves on to something new! We've noticed that the seat pops off very easily when my son is opening it to use the storage space. I have had to attach the seat numerous during use. Attaching it is not difficult and only takes seconds, but this is something we've noticed during play. Overall my son loves this trike to pieces and I definitely enioy seeing him play with it. We would definitely recommend it!

We've only used it inside due to weather, so I'm not sure how it would do outside. Since the rider sits towards the back, it has caused issues with my 2 year old reaching the pedals. My 4 year old does ok, but it's still an odd angle. Also, with the weight being in the back but the wheel power in the front, it causes the trike to slide when pedaling on carpet and hardwood. I'm not sure how it would do on grass or pavement. It has entertained my kids for days though, so I'll consider that a win!.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 2.5 year old son absolutely loves this trike. He can't quite reach the pedals yet, but that doesn't stop him. He uses his feet and drives all over the house (too much snow outside to go there!). He loves the storage space in the seat and keeps it filled with all of his stuff! My almost 6 year old daughter also likes to ride on it and can pedal pretty fast. She is a small 6 year old, so would be good for an average 4-5 year old. Overall great toy! We can't wait to use it outside on the driveway.

I was worried about it going outside with the wear and tear but the overall construction if the trike if fantastic. The only thing I would recomed is the the seat design be a little different. It can comes off and on easily, but my concern is the the nubs that fit in the grooves will wear making the seat cover no longer usable, other than that it's a great product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 2 yr old LICES this bike! The hidden cargo space under the seat is something that he loves to hide stuff in! The only unpleasant part was during the assembly. The instructions were a little confusing halfway in. But we got it put together and it’s great! The box says 2-5 years so our 4 yr old is playing on it and learning how to peddle! It’s a great teaching tool, as well.

He loves the compartment that he calls a secret treasure chest. He fills it with all of his cars. I think what might make this a little more fun would be to add some kind of buttons to make noise of some sort, otherwise I can see him riding this for a long time to come.

My son is 28 months old and loves Thomas. He was so excited to see him on the trike. He is a bigger kid and still can't reach the peddles. However, he is very close to doing so. He has just as much fun sitting on it and using his feet to scoot around our home. My daughter just turned 5, and can still sit comfortably on it. They both love putting things into the storage space under the seat. It may of taken me about 15-20 minutes to put it together from the box, including the stickers. I feel that it is make of quality parts and should last until they outgrow it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy assembly and a very aesthetically pleasing product! My 2 year old does have problems with reaching the pedals, unfortunately. She does still enjoy sitting on the trike and using her feet to move it. All in all, this was a great gift for my daughter and it's sturdy enough to last for a while!

He loves the storage compartment that is underneath the seat, he puts his little figurines inside. It glides easy and is just an overall great durable toy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My little one is almost 3 and on the shorter side and she could barely reach the petals. Bot a big deal she can grow into it but I wasn't fully satisfied with the assembly. Some of the pieces did not want to fit together properly, with some fanangaling I was able to make it work!

We bought this for our 3 year old who is 50 percentile for height (so right in the middle) he can reach the pedals just fine. He rides around on his tricycle the majority of the time we are outside. We will be getting another one for our 2 year old.

My 2 yr old got this trike for Christmas. I should have read the reviews prior to making the purchase. Although he was too short to reach the pedals, he absolutely loved it. Not too long after we had it, one of the back wheels fell off. Being Fisher Price, I was really surprised how cheaply made this trike was. We can't get the wheel to stay on. I have one upset little boy.

I got this few days ago for my 2 year old son. The box states "2"-5, well my son is 2 and in 99% for height and he can't reach the pedals to ride it because the seat is so far out. Today a friend of mine came over with her 3 year old and he couldn't reach it comfortably to ride it and he has been ridding his own bike for a long time now. This is way to big for any 2 year old or even most 3 year olds. I am very very mad at this purchase as it is complete waste of my money
