Excellent Flavor

I bake bread every week, but wanted to add more fiber in my diet. This flour is exceptional. The Blueberry Muffin recipe is classic Target excellence. Perfect blend of ingredients, & works extremely well with Target's Frozen Wild Blueberries. So, the Blueberry Muffin recipe was a nice surprise. If you are otherwise adding to white flour bread, start w/25% Whole Wheat and 75% White Flour and decide if you want to add more. 11% fiber, and very nice flavor. BTW, I'm a Cook, so I'm picky on flavor, and this Whole Wheat Flour has a beautiful flavor. p.s. Pickup Grocery Pickup, or pick up in-store. The 1st bag I bought to be shipped to my home had something yellow, like a chemical or something on the paper bag holding the flour, so best to buy in-person.

Good price but inconsistent quality

Like some other reviews, this whole wheat flour is inconsistent from batch to batch. That suggests it is milled by different third parties. Some times very fine mill, sometime course. I prefer the course, unlike some other reviwers. Whole wheat generally weighs less per unit of volume, but this current batch of fine mill weighs more that allpurpose flour. That changes the percentages of the recipe and the texture of the bread. But it's Target. If you don't like a bag, take it back and splurge for King Arthur.

the first time I bought the flour, I loved it. made Chapatis and it tasted really good. I bought it a few more times and each time it was different quality. this last time it was worse, the flour looked reddish and the Chapati made from it tasted bitter.

Delicious Flavor!

I bought this for my kids who needed more protein in their diets. Both the kids and I love it! My husband hates it, but he was a good sport and made us delicious dinner rolls with it anyway. I found this stone like thing inside flour while shifting it. Thank God I shifted before using or it could end up inside our food! This is very UNACCEPTABLE!! Do quality check, Target!!
