A: Thank you for your question. Our organic products are not treated with glyphosate and glyphosate is not permitted to be used on USDA certified Organic products. That said, we acknowledge that it is possible for trace amounts of glyphosate to be present even in grains grown organically, due to herbicide drift from other, non-organic farms. For this reason, products labeled “Glyphosate Residue Free” may still contain trace amounts of glyphosate.

Great flour,I use it for making breads.My only issue is that I always receive a ripped bag.which is not good for me. I guess the packaging needs to be improved so that it does not get damage during shipping.

This is 100% Whole Wheat Sourdough bread from Bob's Red Mill. The taste is incredible. I managed to find a really fresh 25-pound bag at Smart and Final. The bread has wonderful taste, very sweet. This is the most enjoyable whole wheat bread I've ever made. The difference is the freshness of the flour. Just incredible! The recipe from Tartine included whole wheat flour, starter, water and salt. That's it. Just wonderful flour.

I love bobs redmill products! This is the best whole grain flour I have ever used. When I order from bobs I order a lot of thier products to save on shipping. Thier thick rolled oats are the absolute best. I prefer to order direct from them so I know Im getting the freshest possible products and I receive my order pretty quickly. I love that this is an emplyee owned company and happy to support them. Im a definite fan.

I have been baking from Michael Pollan's bread book. The recipes are for whole grain sourdough breads. I've used this stone ground, organic whole wheat flour in several loaves now. I was surprised at how much lighter it is, and how much more water it absorbs than white bread flour. I quite enjoy the taste, but my wife prefers half white flour.

I love that this whole wheat flour is stone ground which keeps the nutrients in the flour! I have been unable to find any other brand that has stone ground flour. I use this flour along with spelt and quinoa to make Indian roti. We love the combination of flavors!

My family loves my homemade whole wheat bread. Bob's Red Mill Organic Whole Wheat Flour and their organic unbleached white flour are the reason for the flavor. I also make a delicious vegan pumpkin bread using the whole wheat flour without the white flour. The flour is fresh and stone ground. Much commercial flour that you buy in supermarkets is not stone ground and this makes a real difference in taste. My small grandchild is allergic to soy, peanuts, and eggs so I bake all our bread instead of buying it in the store. I also wish to avoid flour contaminated with Roundup which has been found in wheat and oats so I buy organic products.

I really love this whole wheat flour and use it for regular whole wheat yeast bread, quick breads, cookies, brownies. It rises well, it's not too heavy and still has a great carb to fiber ratio. Quality has been consistent. Taste is excellent. Really happy with this product and brand.

Personally, I prefer a courser grind. This was milled a little finer than I like, but since I tend to cook by weight rather than dry measure, it worked out okay.. It wasn't a deal breaker, and the quality was certainly acceptable. .

I just reviewed the organic white flour and mentioned Bob's whole wheat flour. I use the flour as well for my hamburger bun. Bun are soft with the great nutty taste of whole wheat. I never have a failure.
