They taste fine but they’re too dry. I end up adding some grease from the ground beef to moisten them a little bit. Spend a little more and get the brand name.

Please listen to this review and all the other bad ones. I didn’t listen to the other bad ones and I ended up with a can of dry, nasty, inedible dog food instead of refried beans. I’m not sure why these are still for sale anywhere.

Used to like these a lot. Have a small amount of whole beans in them. Still do but the overall texture is horrible. Canned refried beans are never great but somehow they've managed to make them worse with the most off putting grainy texture. Stay away.

I think some of the other reviewers had unrealistic expectations for store brand refried beans. I used these to make copycat Taco Bell burritos and they came out delicious. On their own, they could use more salt. I also wish the can had a pull tab instead of requiring a can opener. Those are my only complaints, though. Overall satisfied! Will buy again.

I don’t know what I expected from these 😭 They do not taste good but I am used to eating fresh refried beans so maybe that’s why? But still, I think other Latin brands offer better quality canned refried beans. Don’t buy these just to save 50 cents lol.

These were just not good. We couldn’t even eat them, we through them out. The flavor is ok but they were very dry and yet had this gelatinous sort of texture at the same time. Won’t be buying these again.

I thought it would be impossible to find canned refried beans that are worse than Old El Paso. Never say never! These are terrible. They are incredibly dry, almost clay-like, and completely flavorless. I divided the can into three separate servings, and I tried different seasonings with each serving. However, they simply could not be saved. How do they have a four-star average rating???

I don't care for these beans at all. They're super dry and not even easy to spread onto tostadas or tacos. I prefer the la preferida brand that isn't carried anymore.

These had absolutely zero flavor and a weird texture. Thought about trying to season myself, but overcoming the texture would have still been a challenge. Will not be purchasing again.
