Q: What did you guys change about the product? It smells different and leaves a strong chemically scent on clothes.

A: It does not have the same scent as Tide original. That is false.

Q: Which product eliminates sweat odor the best?

A: Tide Plus Febreze Sport Active Fresh should remove sweat odor but it may have a different scent then this Tide Plus Ultra Oxi Liquid Tide Laundry Detergent, which has the Original Tide scent.

Q: How well does this work with cold water? Wondering if this is better or actual Tide ColdWater?

A: You can use our detergents with cold water, but warm or hot water provides the best cleaning results. Tide ColdWater has more enzymes to break up dirt, ‘surfactants’ to release soils from fabric, and polymer to suspend the soils in cold water. It provides effective cleaning (stain removal and whiteness) in cold water while offering color protection and saving energy.

Q: Is this product safe for items made of wool or alpaca or other similar fibers?

A: We recommend you follow the instructions on the garment label. That will indicate whether it is a washable wool or not. If it is washable, follow all of the manufacturer’s label instructions. This will include water temperature, drying methods, etc.

A: Carcinogen is not intentionally added ingredient in any of P&G’s products. Because arsenic is in the naturally occurring in the environment, arsenic is found in trace amounts widely across many products such as food and cleaning products. The results shared by CR are very low, safe levels, well below any established safety limits for a cleaning product.

A: That's a great question. Our Tide Plus Ultra Oxi Laundry detergent is not the same as Tide+Oxi.

Q: When washing a white load can bleach be used with this? Typically bleach and Hydrogen Peroxide cancel each other out so I don't use Oxi when using bleach. Does that same rule apply here too?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i literally love this product! i’ve been using tide and arm & hammer forever since it’s the only detergent that doesn’t aggravate my eczema. i thought the oxi clean added to this product might be a risk but honestly it just made an amazing product even better. my clothes has virtually no stains and my eczema hasn’t flared up since i started using it. definitely need to buy another bottle soon.

Tide has always been the bang for my buck. With its new Oxy boost allows me to take care of of laundry without second guessing my wash routine. Its fresh clean scent sets my kids up for another great day of play. Thanks for making wash days easier!

I usually have to spray to pretreat stains with our usual eco detergent and didn’t have to do that with this stuff. If you have a sensitive sense of smell, the scent may be a little overpowering. It does smell pleasant though. A little detergent goes a long way.

The scent is not as strong as other detergents, which is a plus. I was used to the detergent pods, but I love that I can use as much or as little as needed.

Easy to use package, great detergent that helps lift stains with the Oxi Boost and a fresh scent for your clothing! One of the things that I appreciate about Tide is that a little goes a long way. It will get your clothing clean without needing to add a half a bottle to the washer. With my husband's work, stains are literally a part of life and something that can help get them out is a clothing saver. Great value on this product.

The screw on lid was an added bonus as most have a pull off top which becomes very easy to lose. The smell was amazing and after washing your clothes the smell was still on them weeks later. I used to be a Gain laundry detergent user but after using this tide detergent, I’ve officially switched and it’s definitely worth the money in my end especially when it comes to cleaning your clothes and removing those stains.
