From a distance, it looks amazing ... up close ... okay
Up close it is pretty obvious that it is a printed 2D mosquito in amber resin ... but for the price, what did I expect, an actual multi million year old mosquito captured in tree sap? It suffices for the real thing, looks authentic enough ... for my media room.

Not as good as I hoped for the price.
I love the "amber" look, but the mosquito is very disappointing. You can tell that it is a printed and cut out transparency of a mosquito. The image of the mosquito is flat when you look at it from the side, and you can also see some of the edge from the cut piece of plastic transparency. When looking at it straight on, it looks good, though. So, I guess it depends if you will be sitting it on a shelf for display, or if you will be using it for show. Display:good, show: bad.

The Jurassic Park mosquito in amber resin prop ranks up there with the classic and iconic movie props of all-time. I was delighted with the reproduction quality of the three inch tall, paper-weight prop which I obtained from Toynk. All this for a reasonable price, which included shipping and handling charges. Any fan of the first film in the Jurassic Park series and this legendary iconic prop will be delighted with this item.

This is more towards the actual item and less about the seller. I was hoping that this would be something cool that I would be proud to display on my desk...Sadly it is not. This is essentially a translucent egg cut in half, where they put a picture of a mosquito in it and glued it back together. I was expecting there to be an item in the egg and not a depthless image that disappears depending on the angle. I would not recommend this item!
