Not 100% cotton anymore; now slippery cotton polyester blend
My daughter used to love these socks when they were 100% cotton, but when I recently bought her a few more packs, she wouldn’t wear them. I asked her why she wasn’t wearing her new socks, and she said they feel weird and are slippery. I decided to check out the fabric content and realized that the newer ones I picked up contained polyester instead of 100% cotton like the older ones.

New batch is inferior
The quality definitely changed. I have small feet so have to wear kids’ socks. I go through a set of these about every 6-12 months before they get holes in them, which is inevitable for most socks. I didn’t care about that because socks get gross anyway. I bought a new set recently and the quality has gone done. The socks are thinner and pill a lot quicker. I can feel the difference when wearing the older thicker socks vs the newer thinner ones. Thanks again, Target, for shrinkflation.

Inferior version
The All in Motion socks used to be PERFECT. They were high cotton content, thin but held up well, and stayed up! These are higher polyester, too thick to fit in close fitting footwear, and most of all they fall down in the back of the ankle like crazy. They are not snug at all and stretch out really badly. Not good for kids with sensory issues!! Wish I had known target was getting rid of the superior version so I could have bought 10 packs. Really disappointed in these. As usual these days, target replaced a good product with something inferior.
