This chair definitely looks high end and for that it’s probably worth price. I’m glad I got it on sale, because it’s not as comfortable as I expected it to be for the price. I’m hoping it just needs to be broken in a bit to soften up. Definitely added a bit of flair and style to our bedroom and makes for a nice ready corner. Would be great in an office or living room, too. Was relatively easy to put together- had to force the chair part a bit. They provide washers and a second small ring to go with each screw but the chair would not go together when assembled that way (wouldn’t connect to the base — too far away). I kept them on like that for 2 and kept only the washer on (no secondary ring) for the others and then it assembled. Chair is light enough to carry upstairs but has enough weight that it doesn’t feel cheap or flimsy. The bottom of the chair had a small tear upon delivery so it’s certainly not the most quality but again, glad I got it on sale. Overall pleased!

This chair has a nice design but it’s not comfortable. You need a rug underneath to prevent the ottoman from slipping. I didn’t think the quality was worth over $400.
