Q: I see that someone said they leave scratch marks on the plates (4 years ago). I'm hoping they improved and they no longer leave scratches on the plates. Anybody have this problem recently?

I love the look of my new dish set so far! I found one bowl broken when i opened the box and one dish cracked through in the first time in the dishwasher. When I called Elama after each incident for a replacement, speaking to a human fairly quickly was nice. Both times, they said a replacement wil be on the way soon. The replacements haven't arrived yet but it is still too soon. I hope there wont be any more cracking in the dishwasher! Have yet to see whether they scratch from utensils used on them.

These feel and look more expensive than they are. I love how they look when set together! I have had them for two weeks now and no noticeable scratches or chips since opening. There were a plate or two with very minor imperfections on the sides as shown in the pictures. These do not bother me though.
