Extra storage
The three open compartments above your kid’s bed are truly practical. Put an alarm in one of them, along with some bedtime reading and a few bedtime essentials, and you can tuck your little honey in for a good night’s sleep. Put a floor lamp next to the bed, and you could even do without a night stand. We drilled a hole in the back panel for passing cords through – use it to plug an alarm right into the socket, out of sight.

I am writing a review in hopes of getting some assistance with my order. I have reached out via chat and email with no luck. This product was not what we expected. It does not attach to the bed or even allow for the bed to fit in the opening. The shelves inside of the headboard wouldn't even screw all the way in. I am uploading pictures to better show the issues. Hoping that Target will reach out and help correct this.

Nice headboard for the price. Doesn’t attach to bed very well, but it is secure when up against wall. The bed definitely needs the headboard.
