It's lovely and hefty, also visually appealing and well-made. It took less than 5 minutes to assemble, no tools or instructions required. Side note, I'll bet our one star below is a riot at parties.

Very solid, sturdy lamp. Inside the shade is white and the top of the shade is smoothly connected to the sides. It’s beautiful and distinct.

Table lamp
This is a very nice lamp overall and easy to put together. It arrived on time and seems high quality. I like the braided grey cloth cord, verses a plastic coated cord. I only gave it 4 stars because while the exterior of the lamp looks as shown, the finish on the inside of the shade is grey/silver rather than gold as it looks in the picture. Be aware that the top of the shade is solid and light will only project from the bottom. This is fine with me and also why I didn’t return it for being grey on the inside; it’s because it doesn’t much show. Uses 2 bulbs and is a good bedside lamp.

Horrible purchase. First the packaging had a ridiculous amount of styrofoam that flew everywhere upon opening the box that took forever to clean. Second the cap that needed to be unscrewed to put the lamp lid was stuck and impossible to unscrew. Now I have to go back to Target and return and wait for a replacement. Ridiculous

Sturdy and Elegant
I love this lamp! It was not quite as tall as I wanted but still a very nice lamp. Colors were perfect and I put smart bulbs in there.
I thought the top was open but actually the top is closed and just the bottom of the shade is open.
A little expensive though.
