We have a large open bottom floor in our home, and it definitely has the ability to cool it. Energy efficient and multiple settings for fan speed. Convenient remote control. Obviously, an in the wall mounted air conditioner isn't for everyone, but i love the idea of not having a window blocked and no large unit sitting on my floor for a portable air conditioner. Great option from a trusted brand.

It cools my bedroom evenly, which I usually have trouble with when using AC units. It's definitely not completely silent, but it is notably quieter than any window unit I've had over the years. The settings give me plenty of control to adjust the airflow and speed, and I love having a remote. Though, I tend to expect these features on modern units and at this price point. It arrived with wear and tear on the box due to the weight, but the actual unit was thankfully packed well and in perfect condition. BE SURE to read the instructions thoroughly before attempting to install! Determining the placement and what was involved was SO important. Especially since the unit is around 80 pounds! Installation was no small task and there wasn't much room for error at that weight. It took two of us to get it set up properly. Then we had to learn how to operate it! I really like the energy saving features and the 24 hour timer. The trim gives it a sleek look, but honestly doesn't feel super durable long-term. However, the unit itself is solid and well built. It has been such a great improvement for the comfort of the space and seems like it will hold up a long time. I'm really glad I went with this model, and relieved that I checked measurements before selecting it! I did receive this product to try in exchange for my honest review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This LG 9800 btu air conditioner is very powerful! It has a lot of settings on it from fan, to low cold to high cold. The remote is very operational and convenient as well. It is a little bit difficult to install by yourself because it is big and bulky. But with two people it installs quite easily. Its powerful enough to cool down about 600 sq ft of space in my house, so it definitely cools more than its rated to in my opinion.

It does come with a remote which is a nice added bonus. Instructions were straightforward and easy to follow. I cannot wait to get some use out of this in the warmer months. The air comes out so cold.

This room air conditioner by far is something I enjoy now coming home. It keeps my very chill feeling like by home. It was easy to install on the window, and the remote controls are easy to use. Overall, I’d say this is the model I’d recommend to everyone! It’s great and efficient.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect for our master bedroom; saver mode cycles on and off to save power, so that’s annoying once the motor starts to get loud (this is our 3rd unit; each lasting 5-7yrs of daily use). Powerful enough that it also cools our hallway and most of a family room (approx 500 sq ft) One star off as packaging is insufficient and has a broken part. LG replaced under warranty at n/c. Great value!

After three months of use it stopped cooling. It blows out warm air and does not adjust to the temperature i set it at. I cleaned the filter with no change. do not recommend.

I am having problems with noise. I think it’s because the front plastic cover is so flimsy. I had a tech come out and suggested to put tape on it but it didn’t help. You mostly hear it when it is on low fan speed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All my products in my house is LG , wonderful made products stands up to its name & 💯 back up by LG company. LG is so right Life Good , LG makes it Even better.

The controls are much like the Friedrich air conditioner I replaced with this one, but LG is much quieter. It was as easy as pulling the old Friedrich out of the wall sleeve and sliding this one in its place. Took only a few minutes to install.

I have had this unit running for about a month. Works great at keeping a small, insulated room cool. My only complaint is that it’s loud enough to drown out the TV and I have to turn the volume up and down as the AC goes off and on frequently.

I bought this about a month ago to replace a wall unit that was over 40 years old. We were afraid to it due to its age. I bought a wall sleeve to go with this and it fit like a glove. I liked the fact that it came with trim pieces as well to give it a finished look.

Bought a month ago, works good only problem is the display panel....very, very, very difficult to see the tiny lights even with a magnifying glass so you can imagine when using the remote it is impossible!. Poorly designed!
