So so sad…
Has the formula changed?? I’ve gone through many of the Magnetic Pull eyeshadow stick and loved it so much it became my go to every day. Worked so well on my 67 yr old eyes. But now for some reason it’s no longer even useable. So dry can’t even apply. Why change a good thing??

changed the formula, no longer pigmented or smooth.
this used to be one of my staples of everyday makeup – i’ve had one for literal years, and when they went on sale recently i figured i’d stock up. boy, do i regret it. the sticks are hard now, barely pigmented, and hurt your eyes to put on. they definitely changed the formula. i’ve tried heating it up, or putting some on my hand and applying it that way, but it’s way too much work. i don’t know if it was a faulty batch or what, but i would be hard pressed to buy this again after that. absolute waste of money, skip it.

Skip the Pearl
Honestly, a freakishly bad formula from elf. Ive never had a problem, but this literally would not transfer to my lids. Even brow bone. It was dry, a bit crumbly. Even when I warmed it a bit and "started" it on my hand... nothing. And then it just fell out. It was so weird. I had this experience a year + ago, and I was looking to see if there was an updated formula. No dice. But I did see Im not alone on this one. I'll stick to primer, powder Fine as Flick for highlighter, and set with setting spray.

I received the rich amethyst color. This was really disappointing, the stick was so hard that it pulls the delicate skin around your eyes so much that it is painful. Garbage.

I’ve bought a ton of ELF products and have loved them all. This is the first time I’ve had to write a negative review. This shadow stick is so dry that I can barely get any to even stick to my eyelids. I have to press super hard to get any on them. It is supposed to glide on, and the eyelid is a very delicate area! When I could get any color to come out, it was very light. I had to throw it out.

I have repurchased this several times - I have learned it's not exactly a 'blendable' shadow stick, more of it stays where you put it! I love the matte options and the fact that it does not go anywhere once you lay it down. If you're looking for budge proof, this is it and the color options are excellent!
