Faulty! Do NOT buy!
The hose spool component snapped in half within 5 months of very light use. Naturally, outside of the target return window. I keep a 50ft hose on it and it stays out of the sun. I went to use my hose and noticed the spool portion was snapped. Very frustrating as I've had another hose reel for more than a decade without issue.

Easy to set up
This was easy to set up because it was already assembled, it only needed the leader hose to be attached. Then I followed the instructions to attach my own garden hose. It will be easy to roll this into my garage for winter storage instead of leaving it outdoors in our harsh winter weather.

Do not buy
This has turned out to be a very disappointing purchase! The hose reel looks good and is a good size, but it is very poor quality. As others have stated, the connector hose is super cheap and flimsy. Ours already has a hole in it, so we have to spend more $$ to buy a better connector hose. Our first Sun Coast reel lasted over 15 years before it started leaking. This one lasted a few weeks. We will not buy this brand again.

This thing is terrible, it’s cheaply made. The hose that it came with leaks at both connections, it’s spraying water everywhere, and the cart itself made out of thin cheap plasticC, don’t think it would last a season. I had to buy another leader hose to make it work.

Owned it for 3 months and the handle broke. I was able to reattach it but a week after that it totally collapsed . Spend more and buy a better version.
