Buy a different one
Only buy this if you can’t afford a more expensive one. It’s plastic and very cheap and brakes very easily. I bought last year and it didn’t last long and I’m trying again this year with a new one but it’s pretty pitiful.

Not good
Hose is too stiff and very difficult to attach without leakage. Won't work at all to attach hose so it winds up on reel. I can use it only winding my hose separately. Not worth $35 and that was its sale price.

Faulty! Do NOT buy!
The hose spool component snapped in half within 5 months of very light use. Naturally, outside of the target return window. I keep a 50ft hose on it and it stays out of the sun. I went to use my hose and noticed the spool portion was snapped. Very frustrating as I've had another hose reel for more than a decade without issue.

Easy to set up
This was easy to set up because it was already assembled, it only needed the leader hose to be attached. Then I followed the instructions to attach my own garden hose. It will be easy to roll this into my garage for winter storage instead of leaving it outdoors in our harsh winter weather.
