Very easy install and instructions to follow, I haven't had any problems with the app working so far and it's been a few months. I plan on installing more switches for lights and fans soon..

I purchased this and several other Lutron Caseta items. It's easy to install and can be done without a Neutral Wire (none of the others had this option). I like the preset ability with the remote and connection to wifi went smoothly. I set this up with Alexa to set room to preset scenes. The one thing that I wish Lutron did was sell their 4-button customizable scene remotes to non contractors. I had to buy some from Canada in order to get them and they should allow me to set scenes with a wall switch when I walk in the door or need to clean or head to the bathroom (super dim, but not too dark to trip). Its the one missing link from the consumer version. If you make the 4 button scene remotes available... I'll be purchasing 4 please.

I recently purchased a house that had several Caseta switches already installed in every room and love them. I needed an option to control them so I purchased the hub kit. It works fantastic and provides an excellent option for my lighting needs. Very simple and easy to install and program. The remotes are a bonus and are handy if you want to carry around with you. Im 100% satisfied and happy with the purchase. Would recommend 100%

After using a few weeks, noticed what appear to be software issues. Periodically, the attached light will start cycling up and down repeatedly until the bridge is power cycled. Wall switch has no control during this process.

This is my second home that I have used the Caseta wall switches and individual lamp plugs. I've been so happy with the product in my first home and would highly recommend Caseta to anyone who appreciates automating their home lighting, etc.

I had my electrician put the dimmer into the wall to control recessed ceiling lights, but I hooked up the bridge with the app on my phone. Works like a charm, love this product. You will want them in many rooms. You never need to walk into a dark room again.

I bought the pro bridge kit some time ago when wink had issues. Their latest outage forced me to use it. Boy, I’m sorry I waited. Super easy to connect. Switch is simple. Bridge had the new switch, 3 previously installed switches and a bunch of picos all running in minutes. Timed and sunset controls easy to set up. Had Wink displaced for lights in no time. Connected it to Hubitat for more integration but for just lights, wouldn’t be needed. Great product.

Junked all Insteon and replaced with Caseta. Easy install and works great!

I purchased this kit to replace a single traditional switch, and the same day ordered a bunch more switches to replace the rest of my switches. I did quite a lot of research figuring out which smart switch to try, something important for me was is that I have very old wiring so needed a two-wire solution. Instructions were super easy to follow and really does only take 10-15 mins for each switch (maybe faster but I’m paranoid with triple checking that wires are not live). Pairing is fast and seamless- each time worked first attempt and I’ve had them installed for about 4 weeks now and they are always responsive either from switch HomeKit, or an automation. The only downside is the switch style (personally to me) seems better suited to a corporate office environment rather than a home. I’d love if they had a more streamlined look maybe with capacitive slide to change dimming rather than multiple button tap-tap-tap. I did also replace the LED bulbs (I’d just moved in, and although the bulbs that came with apartment said they were dimmable they were pretty cheap) I got some more expensive Phillips LEDs and no flickering! Overall very happy with these switches!

We are an Apple household and love the fact that I can control the lights with Siri. Setup was easy and straightforward. Very happy with the purchase.

I was a little hesitant to install this, but I had to get something done. My kids are constantly leaving lights on and I am usually in bed before I realize it and have to go back downstairs to figure it out. Now I just need to let Alexa know to make sure the lights are out. It was super easy to install, even in my old house. Just a few simple wires to connect, then done. I will need to get a few more of the switches to get the rest of the house done.

I have been switching out all of my older ceiling fans and the electrical switches with them. The fan in my dining room used to have a dimmer switch so when I saw the Lutron Caseta Wireless Smart Lighting Dimmer Switch Starter Kit I jumped at the chance to get it. I am working on making my house a smart house and this will be a welcome addition to my smart home. Oh, did I say it's easy to operate. I would definitively recommend it to my family and friends.

Installing this was not too bad. I watched the videos they provide but I still asked for help from a friend because I was scared. Setup was easy and it connected to my smarthings and alexa without issue. I really like that it is not dependent on the wifi. We get a lot of power flickers from storms and it always screws up my smart lights. If the power flickered overnight I would wake up to all kinds of lights on in my house. With this I don't have to keep resetting the lights. The other really cool thing is I can set my lights to turn on at sunset and turn off at sunrise. It figures out what times that will be and turns the lights on and off for me. That is awesome since those times change daily. It's nice not having to remember to turn lights on and off. Plus if I am away from home it looks as if I am there when the lights turn on by themselves. Really awesome device!

Wow what a life saver! Connected to my alexa with ease and works great! So easy to use and to set up easy to install too. Very well made. A life saver for when coming home at night and I meed the lights on.

For some time, I wanted to try using smart lights for many reasons: lights turning on when I come home, ability to do random on/ off with lights and using it along side other smart home devices. Plus, the cool factor of using smart lights. The Caseta Wireless Dimmer Kit with Smart Bridge and Lutron apps came through just in time. Pros: 1. Smart light system with app 2. Smart bridge connected easily with router 3. App allows adding other smart devices 4. Dimmer function allows adjustments for softer light (versus simple on/ off) 5. Potential for others to use if they know the app login credentials. Cons: 1. Disconnect electricity before attempting installation. 2. Use YouTube videos for installation help as the instructions link to a PDF written materials. 3. Keep up with the old light fixtures items for moving from apartment/ sharing living space. My biggest pain point concerned turning off the circuit breaker to attempt installation. I am not an electrician, so, I felt a little nervous about touching cables. Also, I felt nervous about this being my first time installing a smart light. That said, I talked to the apartment maintenance about the installation along with watched YouTube videos. Side bar: The ground wiring may be be used if the box is metal so tap of that cable on the device. I took a picture of the existing wiring so that I could remember how to reconnect the old fixture when I move. Then, I completed the installation. As a first time user, I am excited about adding other smart devices to this existing system.

I thought this would be the perfect solution to my son CONSTANTLY leaving his bedroom light on. And I was right. His room is at the end of the hallway and every time I notice the light on, I can ask Alexa to turn it off from my kitchen. Installation was easier than I thought. I've never done any sort of electrial work but the directions were very clear and easy to follow. They include detailed images, which always help. My son loves that he can dim his light. I also like that the bridge connects directly to the router because I already have too many things picking up its wireless signal. I *think* that makes a difference? The switch plate looks nice on the wall too.

The Lutron home light switch is an excellent way to make your home just a little bit smarter. I am always forgetting to shut my light off at bed time and this has transformed the way I use my smart features. I am able to read and turn off the light at my leisure. It’s already paid for itself! Install was a breeze, took about 30 minutes of total time! Must buy!

Outstanding product! Very easy to install, overall took about 5 minutes. Also, very easy to use. Comes in handy especially being a stay at home working mama, makes my life easier to tell Siri to turn on/off/dim lights or set it up on an automatic timer.

This works amazing. We usually struggle hooking things up and installing. Especially me I usually pass it along for my husband to do. With this I had no trouble and things worked perfectly. The dimmer switch is so easy that even a little kid can use. The switches do not stick. Overall excellent item

I installed this in my foyer. I wanted something I could schedule different settings when out of town to make it seem as if someone was still home. This works great and I’ve found I like it on at night using the dimmer on low! Not 5 stars because I found the directions a little hard to follow, but that could be user error. The price is a little steep, but we plan on changing out the double switches next as it is an upgrade to your home that can only make your home more appealing in the future.
