DOES NOT STICK
so I bought this tape cause I am moving and need to pack boxes. I bought this tape because its called 'Box Lock' has wording like 'extreme grip' and 'guaranteed to stay sealed'. It does not stick to cardboard, I have never used such useless tape. it does not lock, it does not seal. These boxes will 100% open when moving, like how useless. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT EVER. USELESS, for what it costs u can get any. other brand and I guarantee it will be better

Raised price $2.50 overnight
The tape itself is better than the other scotch brand packing tapes. Sometimes one roll will stick and hold better than another roll (both the same brand box lock and both purchased from you). Also, it can be horrible trying to keep it from sticking to itself while using after tearing. Can be a real pain. But the reason for the one star rating is because overnight you raised the price by exactly $2.50. Just disgusted. I’ve been buying this since you started carrying it online and the price has never changed. I’ve bought several of these from you.

It actually works. I have tried other Scott tape like heavy duty and moving tape but this actually works every time. Other versions have needed several layers to make my packages secure less they loose their grip but this is truly one piece and the job is done. None of my clients have ever complained the box wasn't secure when they got the items I shipped to them. It's almost like insuring the package will arrive sealed

DO NOT lose an end or you will be very frustrated!
I usually spend the extra $ for Scotch brand packing, shipping and box tape because they adhere well, but most importantly when I lose the end it is easy to find and peel up with my fingernails.. I can get the tape back to the full width with minimal loss.The lot of tape I got for moving last year and continue to use is horrid! When I lose an end, it is difficult to find, it shreds, and when I’m finally able to get it to the full width, I’ve lost 6-8” of tape. It was this experience with cheap tape that made me a Scotch brand tape loyal customer. I am very disappointed with what I consider a degradation in the quality of the product. I am sure it is thinner which is probably why the end Is so difficult to find and peel. I will not buy this product again.

Extremely durable
My car was broken into, and I had a 5.5 hour drive back home without a driver's front window. I wanted to make the drive back with a barrier in case there was bad weather, etc, but wanted something that would not obstruct my vision. I used this tape to make a make-shift window. I drove 70+mph home and through rain, and this tape held up the entire way. I was so grateful Scotch made this excellent product. It made a stressful situation much better. Very durable and definitely kept the promise to stay sealed!

I have used this tape for a long while. After using other name brands that don't stick well, I tried Scotch box lock, LOVE IT!! It sticks really well to my shipping boxes and is very strong! I won't use any other brand, just scotch box lock tape!

Best Tape
I ship packages often so I use a lot of tape. I Had been having trouble finding a different tape from the same brand so I switched to this and now I won't be switching back. The tape is thick and sticks well, No issues there but even more it isn't overly loud nor does it smell.. I Had gotten a cheaper tape from a different brand and it was so long to use and created an odor while using it , I love this tape. The Box Lock really works

Scotch shipping packaging tape
Used 2/3 of the tape and then the tape starts tearing and I have to run the roll out until it is the width of the roll to use it (and cut off the narrow part).Then it did it again, i.e. somehow got a narrow width, have to run it out ....I am going to throw the rest of the roll out.

This box lock tape truly is amazing. I never needed to use more than one strip of tape to keep a box closed. A huge improvement over the old tape I used.

Quiet and sticky
My favorite thing about this tape is the complete silence when pulling the tape out. It is silent. No horribly loud sound. None. It is also super sticky and works great! I have a small business and will only use this stuff to ship from now on. I didn't get it free like most of these reviews btw.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Scotch Box Lock packaging tape comes in a roll dispenser so its easier for you to cut the tape once it has been applied to the box. The packaging tape has a thickness to it and once its on the box it stays put. Compared to some generic brands of packaging tape this would be 2-3x thicker by feeling. I would give this product two thumbs up! I receive this product from 3M to evaluate.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Solid heavy duty tape. In contrast to some others I've used, I don't feel like I have to excessively tape up a box to make it secure. It's also doesn't seem as prone to sticking to itself, which is a nice feature when you're attaching a return label to a box, i.e. the tape doesn't wrinkle and obstruct the text on the label. I received this product from 3M as a sample to review.
