Wireless charging relies on electromagnetic fields, and the process of converting electrical energy into magnetic energy and back isn't 100% efficient. Some energy is lost as heat. My iPhone 11 would not hold any charger in the port after turning 5 years old and I had to hold cords in place to get a charge. This device made it SO much easier to charge my phone. My only complaint is that I have to take my case off every time to charge, even though it says it’s compatible with cases. Otherwise, great so far!

My charging port is currently having issues, likely broken, and this phone charger SAVED MY LIFE!! I can go from 15% to 100% in less than 2 hours. While it's not exactly good for laying in bed and holding onto your phone while watching youtube, that would make sense. I love this charger, it's quick, the cord is long, and I don't have to worry about my charging port being in that specific position to be charged.

This advertises as a “fast” charger. Absolutely nothing fast about it. I’ve been using it for over an hour and I’m only at 30% and it’s making my phone extremely hot. Almost too hot to even touch. It is not magnetic and my phone slides off it easily. This is junk and I’m returning.

Charges fast. Blue flashing light if no phone placed on top, incredibly annoying at night. Also flashes if on a wrong surface type (metal, uneven, etc.) or if plugged into an extension cord or a poorly performing outlet. A good stationary charger, not good if you want to be on your device, a MagSafe charger is better for that.

I forgot my wireless charger when we went on vacation, so I ordered this one from a nearby Target. It was ready for pickup within an hour. I use it for my Pixel 7 at night so I can listen to Podcasts and keep the phone charging. Like many phones these days there is no separate headphone jack. The charger is great. I think it even charges more quickly than the one I have at home. It doesn't get hot and it is not particularly sensitive to the position of the phone. I have a lot of confidence in the Anker brand as their portable battery packs are legendary and have served us well over the years.

The “fabric” design on the charger is rough and ugly. As well it charged my phone way slower than I would’ve expected. And there isn’t a magnetic component so unlike other MagSafe chargers the phone is just sitting on the charger. I personally prefer a more solid connection with a wireless charger than what this is offering.

I was given the Power Wave 11 sense pad for Xmas. II was charging over nite - which was what I needed it for but if I put my iPhone on the pad for several hours during the day it would only charge from 20% to maybe 50% in that time - not what would call fast. As of this week despite futzing around with the cords, outlets, and phone placement I either get a flashing light or no light at all. Not happy! I hav gone back to my regular charger - slower but reliable
