It felt like forever to get this thing to light. I was worried it wasn’t going to, but then, like magic it sparked and scared everyone. I say scared because all the kids jumped back and even I was a shocked. It did its thing though, and I thought it was amazing! FYI, you can’t blow it out, just let it do its thing and once it gets to the end of the number, it will stop. Be prepared, though, it’s just like a sparkler being lit.

I got these for my son’s birthday and I didn’t realize how quick they would burn. The one was almost done by the time I lit the seven. They are pretty, but definitely better for single digit birthdays. Make sure your kid is ready, but also back far enough.

Cool in theory. Poor execution.
The effect is cool but it burns way too fast. Candle went out before we sang happy birthday and my son didnt get to blow out the candle. He was sad. It also has some smoke that might set off sensitive smoke detectors. Its not practical and I wont buy this kind of candle again.
