Cracking under 6 months
Purchased in August 2025. By Christmas, the handles got cracked while boiling process during making tea for my guests. Had to stop before something happens. No more kettle since then.

Very nice kettle
The kettle is everything I wanted exept being too large in size, toweing over its predecessor of the same capacity of 1.5L. It seems that the margin between the Max water mark and the top of the kettle is way too large. I assume that it was intended for safety, so hot water would not splatter over perhaps, but it makes the kettle way too tall. I think that the automatic shut off can happen sooner in the boiling process and reduce the active boiling time, particularly considering that many teas don't require fully boiling water temperatures.

Very Disappointed – Rust After Just a Few Months I had high expectations from Zwilling because of their reputation for quality, but this electric kettle has been a major letdown. After only a few months of regular use, I noticed rust forming inside the lid (see photo). For a premium-priced product, this is completely unacceptable—especially for something that’s supposed to handle drinking water! Not only is the rust concerning for health and hygiene, but it also shows that the materials used aren’t as durable as advertised. The outside looks sleek, but clearly the inside doesn’t match in quality.

This came broken non non-working in the box. The lid will not close. The build is flimsy. Wasted time and money on what I thought was going to be a good electric kettle. Nope

Great looking, easy to use but cheap built.
I used this Zwilling kettle for about a year when I noticed a brownish discoloration on the lid near the spout. I contacted Zwilling Canada, and they told me it was caused by minerals in the water. They suggested cleaning it with a mixture of vinegar, baking soda, and liquid soap, but it didn't help. Since the warranty had expired, there was nothing they could do. I kept using the kettle, but after another year and a few months, the plastic lid started bubbling and peeling, releasing tiny particles. Who knows if any of them ended up in the water we drank? For a kettle, with this price tag, the quality was disappointing, and the lifespan was far too short.

Pleased with quality and design
The Kettle is perfect. We live with well water, and this kettle is very easy to descale and comes with great instructions. The mesh in the pour spout is also perfect for our situation. It's also a very nice-looking kettle—modern, clean, and very well made. We have had it for about a month now, and it's great. Very Happy with this purchase.

good design, not sure about the quality
I received this kettle about a few weeks ago through sales promotion, the design is nice and simple, however, just after a few weeks usage, the bottom already shows rusty spots, compared to my other brand kettle, the rusty spot did not show up until after 2 years of usage. I also have another double barrel stainless kettle which does not have any rusty spot even after years of usage. Is there any way I could clean those spot out? Will this affect the quality of water I broil?
