Description
From the Dyno XL collection by Minka Aire, this contemporary indoor ceiling fan comes in an heirloom bronze finish, with five blades in a barnwood finish. An energy-efficient LED light is built into the bottom and has an etched lens covering. Use the included handheld remote to operate the fan and dim the light. lasted about 2.5 years
I came back to write a review on this fan I purchased 2.5 years ago. The Wifi control module went out. I still have another minka fan in my guest bedroom that I purchased before this one that still works just fine. This model is known for faults parts. Not to mention the replacement part is back ordered until 3 months. Beautiful fan design but not worth the cost.

We bought this fan 4 1/2 years ago and now the fan stopped working all of a sudden. I assume it's the motor. Extremely disappointed. We had a different Minka Air fan in our previous house as long as we lived there, 12 1/2 years, and never had an issue with that fan.

Quality unit
Heavy gauge metal, quality design. Straightforward to install yourself with ability to control fan/light via provided remote and/or phone app (plus voice control). Reasonable price for what you get, I would buy again

We've had this fan less than a year and it just quit working in January, light and fan both will not work. We have updated all our kitchen lighting at Lamps Plus and are very satisfied, so when this fan quit working, we were very disappointed because we really liked it.

Back ordered forever
Can’t review the fan I never got. Ordered in August and keeps getting delayed. Now 2022. I have to contact them for updates. No thanks Lamps Plus. I would give 0 stars if I could.

It is powered by remote and in order for it to respond correctly from it you have to run the fan for a good 5 minutes

Great fan

Big improvement in technology
This was a replacement for another ceiling fan in a vaulted room. We purchased this specifically because it is LED fixture and because everything can be controlled by either the remote control or an app from your phone. Since it's a vaulted ceiling, it is a big deal to be able to control the fan speed and direction without scaffolding or a really tall ladder. We live in a location where the seasons change drastically and the winter/summer directional change is necessary. We love that this can be done from an app!
