They are soft and thick, seemed nice, but I washed and dried once and the size medium went to a toddler size sock! May I add that I bought 6 packs of socks total that day and washed them all together. These were the only ones to shrink.

My seven year old son hates the way certain socks feel. He is easily bothered by the corners of the toe area. These are the only socks he will wear and is not bothered by the toe. I only gave it four stars though because I find his socks are the only ones that look very dingy and very worn after about six months. Because of this I have to replace his socks more often than my other three kids socks.

Soft socks but they have strings on the inside from the pattern which can get caught on the toes/nails. There are also knotted balls of string that are at the end of the toe box where the toe seam ends that really bothered my son. If clipped, it will leave a hole.
