Rug makes a mess.
Buyer beware. This rug creates an incredible amount of dust and dirt. When I try to vacuum it, it clogs the vacuum. Also pieces pull very easily. Bunches up even with a rug pad. Looks great and I wanted to love it, but unfortunately have to get rid of it.

Pretty but not woeth it
For the price, this rug did not stand the test of time. We’ve owned for a little over a year. I really liked the look when we first put it in our living room. It had a bit of a scent but it’s jute. That’s to be expected. It now has a perpetual wet dog smell, though. And forget about sitting on it. You come away covered in small broken fibers. It looks like pet fur. No amount of vacuuming makes it end.

After paying for expensive rugs for years only to have them slowly destroyed by pets I took a chance and bought a rug from Target. Here I am with this purchase of rug #4 and all of them still holding up just fine. This rug is soft but interesting under foot and sheds far less than previous PB jute rugs. I like the texture and variations in the design and colors. It's understated but brings some personality to the room. Great purchase.

This rug is best unrolled outside if you can. It is a nice natural fiber rug that is soft to walk on, which is a bonus, however I’d ask the Target Quality Managers to order a rug and see the dirt and filth that hits the floor upon unrolling. We purchased this for the entryway, unfortunately it’s just too high and we cannot open the closet door.

Gorgeous rug but sheds like crazy
We ordered this for our family room, a high traffic area with small children playing and hanging out. Their clothes and cotton pajamas are always covered with small brown fibers. It drives me nuts. The shedding is pretty significant so if you've got kids one the floor, this might not be the rug for you. It looks great. We love it. But I probably wouldn't have bought it had I known how much it sheds. Also, buy a rug pad asap. It's super slippery without anything underneath it!

We were inspired in our recent LR redo by designer max Humphrey’s new book, Modern Americana. I wanted to mix modern + vintage + to layer our rugs, so I paired this 10’ x 7’ chunky jute rug with a 5’ x 7’ pattern jute rug, also from Target. I love how all our new pieces from Threshold with Studio McGee fit with my mix of modern + vintage style. This rug is definitely chunky + squishy + soft - our cat lies down on this rug UNDER the chair sometimes, because it’s so soft!
