Extraordinary effect of bright candlelight at night. lightweight easily carried to wherever extra light may be wanted. In daylight, the plastic construction is apparent. I've a hot, sun filled backyard and have had the fixture for just over a month so I'm unsure of this product's durability.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Techko Solar Zen Lantern to use for my house. This Solar Zen Lantern has the ability to have either white or amber LED lighting based on my preference. It stands 15.6” tall and is surprisingly very light weight which makes it extremely portable. The outside feels as if it’s made out of plastic (fragile) which makes me cautious not to drop it. I like that it has a IP65 waterproof rating-that way I can use it out in my garden during the summer months. I currently have it out on my screened-in porch and it looks amazing! It gives the ambiance I was looking for without the hassle of having to find an outlet to plug it into. I love having the option to switch between the light modes but my favorite is the amber lighting. This being solar powered, will hold a charge for up to 12+ hours and it automatically comes on at dusk and off at dawn. I would absolutely recommend this lantern and I hope to purchase more in the future!

The white light setting provides light, while the amber setting provides a warm glow. So nice to have out on our deck at night, as it's much more relaxing than turning the bright porch light on to see every time we want to step out. A beautiful lantern, that conveniently turns itself on at sundown, and off at sunrise.

I like our black lanterns (same brand) better than the orange, but love the height. If you get any lanterns, purchase these!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was shocked at how much bright light this puts out. It really does shine brightly, and can even be set for white or amber lights. There is a solar panel on the top that collects the light for power. We have tried it out in the open as well as on a covered porch. It works both ways, but the lantern puts out a brighter light that lasts longer when receiving full sun. I thought the outside of the lantern was going be wood (looks that way in photo), but it is a plastic that is an orange-ish color. The trim color could be better, but the lamp works so well that I don't really care.

It is so asthetically pleasing and gives off the perfect amount of light. Best part is it is SO easy.. it charges during the day and turns on at nightfall so you don't have to remember to turn on.
