Fun toy
These bugnoculars are so fun. My child likes putting bugs in it and watching them. He also likes to put twigs, rocks, flowers and pretty much anything he can find. I would recommend it!

My outdoor-loving three year old grandson takes the binoculars so that he can examine things. Normal binoculars are too hard for small children to use but these are perfect. I bought two pairs as I liked them so much

A fun outdoors activity
My 2 children (5 and 2) absolutely love playing with this. We've collected so many bugs to properly study and look at - which then brings on lots of interesting questions from them. Perfect for getting everyone out exploring

I wrote a review last June (6/24/16) and my kids still love this item! They just made me capture a frog that somehow made its way into our sand box in tx!! We put it in the big catcher and the kids (now 6 1/2 and 5 yr old twins) have been captivated. Don't mind the dirty picture. This bug Catcher is constantly being used, thrown on the ground, and full of water, dirt, grass or other "bug food".

Nature walks will never be the same
Nature walks will never be the same. These come with us for all our outings from a walk around the Arboretum to a hike around the reservation. Both my kids collect items and save them for inspecting. We've made a point to make sure we don't bring home any new residents, but to watch their little faces looking through the bugnoculars is too cute. I almost feel like they're teaching us more about nature now that they have such an interest in it. A great price point and perfect educational toy. I received this item in exchange for an honest review all thoughts are my own.

Learning toy encourages nature discovery play
While I may not love looking at bugs up close and personal, my boys sure do! This gives bug-catching adventures a whole new level of fun, because now instead of just catch and release, they can spend a little more time with their bug friends. The magnifier gives them details looks at the creatures they catch, while keeping them safe from any pinching claws. Okay, I admit it, I even sneak a peek or two once in awhile because it is all rather fascinating. It's easy for my 4 and 6 year old to manipulate as well, so I don't have to ACTUALLY get involved in the whole bug-catching process! haha! I love the carry handle, so they can transport their bugs around the yard as they search for more. All in all, it's a great toy that encourages learning and discovery! I received this product free for review. All opinions are my own.

Hours of Fun!
Being a teacher, I love how educational this toy is! Of course, EI didn't let me down with this one! My boys love how they can capture creatures and get a good look at them, whether it's through the larger top lenses or the side lenses. Another thing they love is how the creatures can survive in this see-through canister for a period of time because of the breathable holes. I, of course, love how the creature cannot escape! :)

Fun wth bugs
We received this item to review from EI. Our kids (ages 5 1/2 and 4 yr old twins) love it. They search the backyard for bugs to put in the container, add grass and water, then they love to use the binoculars on top and the magnifying views on the side to see the bug. It is durable - crash test after a dispute on whose turn it was to see the poor caterpillar inside. The binoculars on top are perfect for an overhead look. The magnifying views on the side could be bigger , but allow for a great look when a snail is clinging on to the top on the case. The top is very secure - no creature had escaped yet. Lots of fun and great to educate the kids on outside creatures.

Great toy for discovering nature up close!
I received this product to review from Educational Insights. My five year old really enjoys this product! It is good for not only viewing up close the creepy crawlies she catches but other things as well. This product is very easy to use and a lot of fun to take on our nature hikes. It is very well made and sturdy and keeps the things she wants to view trapped inside so she can easily see them without worrying about them moving or blowing away. I can see it getting a lot of use on our summer camping trips!
