70" 5 Shelf Bookcase - Sauder

Needed a bookshelf in my office. This is well made and sturdy. Not fond of the thin backing but other than that, I like it. Worth the price!

We have placed this bookcase in our bedroom to store books and photos and we love the way it looks.

Will use the bookcase to store art supplies.

Looks nice, wi8ll load up as soon as attached to wall.

It looks nice, but it pulled the wood out some where the top an bottom go together at one of the cam connections when we set it up after putting it together. It isn't noticible, but I know it's there and to be careful if I move it.

Used to display family pictures, old albums and miscellaneous old pictures. There was some shipping damage due to rough handling.

The bookshelf is sturdy, and holds a lot more books than I expected. It was easy to put together and looks great in my office.

Easy to assemble except for back cardback pieces which would not line up and I was shorted on nails for tacking it to bookcase. Three pieces had part of laminate like coloring scratched for which I would have requested replacement parts for if I wasnt using it in a room with two older bookcases. Would be nice if a matching marker pen was included to touch up the places that were scratched up.

Good quality at a reasonable price. Manufactured in the USA. Very detailed instruction book left no room for mistakes. Parts assembled quickly and fit perfectly. So happy with the bookcase I went back to the store and bought a second one.

It's a very study shelf that does its job well. My only suggestion is that the instructions have you put the back piece on after you combine the two halves together, making it very difficult to do by yourself. Since I bought to two of them, on the second that I built, I added the backs before combining the final two pieces which made the building process much smoother.

Fits right where I wanted it and the color is perfect. Solid and will hold a lot of books.

When putting this together you lay it on it's face to put nails in the back. Due to the fact that the bottom sticks out it does not lay flat. When I leaned slightly on the back to place the backing it popped apart in the middle where the two pieces were put together making it a bit unstable. Also the way the backing is designed anything that pushes back on them pushes them away from the back of the shelves and if thin it falls behind the unit. Also I asked the company if I could purchase one more shelf with the holding pins. I was told that the unit was not designed to handle more shelves or weight and they refused to sell it to me. Once I own a piece of furniture it I modify it then it could void a warranty but be my responsibility. I did not like that non customer service.
