A: When ingredients freeze, especially vegetables, the water can separate from the solid food, causing it to become chunky and watery. While these are completely safe to consume, they don’t always look very appetizing!

Great for constipation!
Recently my 15 month old was constipated due to change from formula to milk. We tried pear juice but he’s not a fan of juice, so the other recommendation I was given was prunes. Not only does my son LOVE eating these, it works like a charm for constipation. We make sure to keep a supply handy for those times of need.

Formula change not reflected in description
This listing has a photo of the old formula that was AMAZING and had 9 prunes with 2 tbsp of water, but if you guy this now, you'll get the same package that instead says 3 3/4 prunces and 1/4c water. I hate to say this, but this is SIGNIFICANTLY less effective than the old product for constipation - almost every brand has about 3 prunes per pouch so i no longer think this is worth the cost since other brands do the same for cheaper. I would recommend the OLD formula- be sure to check the back oof the one you actually recieve.

Did the forumla change? Disappointed.
We used to love these pouches and used them to help with child’s constipation. I noticed, however, that the back of the pouch has changed, and now says it only contains 3 3/4 prunes per pouch instead of 9 prunes per pouch? And has more water instead? This is extremely disappointing, as they are not working as well to help my child now. Is this a permanent change to the formula?

These pouches are great
These pouches are great when your baby or toddler is constipated. I love that they are organic and they're not too expensive if you buy a large pack of them. I give them to my son when he has trouble pooping and it helps. I probably wouldn't give it to him when he's not constipated because prunes can be very sugary, however these can probably help your child go when they're constipated.
