Elegant Fan
The fan is beautiful and moves air really well and is very quiet. We had an issue with noise at higher speeds almost immediately, and needed to have our installer come back out to put in a new receptor (which is why I gave it 4-star), but it was very easy to get customer help on the phone to address the issue for the new fan.

Sleek and Powerful
We purchased a MinkaAire ceiling fan a few years ago for our bedroom that has held up well. So, again, we purchased a MinkaAire for a large upstairs room. The Skyhawk 60" was an easy install despite our tall ceiling (we purchased a 69" downrod, too). It worked from the get-go. The light is very adequate for the room size and the fan out-put is great. The look is sleek and very much updates the room. It has only been up 2 days, but we anticipate no problems. The only thing we are considering is purchasing a wall switch in lieu of a remote. We have a wall switch with our other one and find a permanent spot for on/off & adjustments works better for us than chasing our remote around. But, we will decide on this in upcoming weeks. Overall, we recommend this fan.

Poor instructions, but great design
It’s beautiful, however the instructions are terrible. I looked up similar fans on YouTube to be able to figure it out. Now there is a weird noise if it is on high. Also, are the weights placed below or above the wings?

Missing parts....little help provided by Lamps Plus
My fan came with missing parts and have been waiting for almost a month to receive the part to make my lamp functional. Apparently there is nothing customer service (they are friendly) is capable of doing as the part comes from the manufacturer. In the meantime I have a partially installed fan in my home. An estimated date of the middle of February for the part to ship....
