Disappointing
There aren't many toasters on the market with wide and long slots. The controls being on the side is a good design choice. However, this toasts unevenly and somehow has no peek feature. I expected better, especially for the price.

Very sleek
Just received my new toaster. Love how it looks with the rest of my kitchen appliances. Seems to toast great.

Looks great but is difficult
Toaster works excellently for long pieces of sourdough bread but is tough to dial in the levels it seems like 4 it’s barely toasted but 5 is near burnt. Great product and looks super sleek but is tough to figure out

Slick matt black
Looks great, toasting at 4 is our preferred setting for evenness. Love that the buttons have a backlight and I don't need to worry about fading print too.

This toaster is amazing in every way!
We love everything about this toaster. It toasts evenly, pops up gently and high enough we can easily grab the toast, & the crumb tray actually catches crumbs. It feels and looks built to last. This may be the only well-made long slot toaster on the market! I highly recommend this product.

After 3.5 years - Definitely Not Worth The Money!
As someone who has owned this toaster for 3.5 years - believe me when I say it's not worth the money. It was good for about 2.5 years and then it started physically falling apart. Cracks in the case, it started toasting unevenly - totally not worth the money. I held on for another year candidly because of how much it cost. I couldn't even give it away for free, ended up throwing it in the trash.

Lever too hard to handle
Although I like the double long slots, after one year only the lever is definitely broken! Too hard to bring down, you need to use two hands. Disappointed

Disappointing Build Quality
Toaster looks very nice from the exterior but durability and operation have disappointed. Toasting button / lowering mechanism failed after two years of usage and toaster became unusable. Button gets stuck. The previous two years of usage we often felt like the toaster easily burns bread instead of allowing it to brown evenly. We did not have this issue with previous toasters.

Expected better longevity at this price point
He did an excellent job for three years. The toaster I bought at a fraction of the price lasted 10 years without any issues. At this price, I expected it to last longer… and no replacement parts to repair. A cheaper one will do the job again.

Excellent Performance and Sleek Design
I’ve been using this Zwilling toaster for two weeks now, and it’s easily the best I’ve ever owned. The toasting is perfectly even every time, and the long slots are incredibly useful for different types of bread. My only minor complaint is that the finish shows fingerprints quite easily, but overall, I’m thrilled with this purchase.

Like burned toast, this is the toaster for you
If you like unevenly toasted and often burned toast this is for you. This is such a disappointing unit. No consistency in toasting. Some areas of bread is lightly toasted and other areas on same slice are burned. Often sets off a warning from my smoke detector in the foyer. Looks sleek and we wanted a long slice toaster for calabrese loaf, and bagels. But regardless of the control setting the breads are never toasted properly. As we used points to “purchase” it we never bothered returning it but wish we’d just bought a cheap toaster instead of this.

Too of the line performance
Love this toaster. It toasts even the largest bagels evenly. Its sturdy and consistent and has a slim profile to fit in a kitchen with limited counterspace.

A Faux-Stainless Fiasco
The Zwilling Efigny is less a toaster than a countertop SUV. It hogs space like it’s squatting rent-free in your kitchen, yet still manages to toast with all the excitement of a beige filing cabinet. The “faux stainless” exterior is plastic in metallic drag, the kind of finish that would embarrass even a budget blender. Sure, it browns bread, but so does a campfire. If you want to spend extra for the illusion of premium, this is your toaster. If you want actual stainless steel, look elsewhere.

Perfect
Bought because it’s nontoxic, I emailed them and it’s BPA, PFAS, formaldehyde, and lead free. Absolutely love how my husband and I can make 4 toasts at once for breakfast and it toasts wonderfully everytime.

Let's Toast to a Perfect Toaster
Is it gorgeous? Yes! Does it toast bread, waffles and bagels to perfection? Yes! Was it a little pricey… I think so, but it brings me such joy. I’m going to say it was well worth it. I made the decision to buy this particular toaster because I needed a toaster that I could toast the panda bread from Trader Joe’s in. I was tired of cutting my bread in half to put it in the toaster so this extra long toaster does the job! If you’re on the fence, go ahead and do it Don’t waffle on your decisions any longer and hopefully the brings you the joy and happiness that it brings me every time I see this on my counter. Now I’m going to buy new countertops so that this gorgeous thing will have a new beautiful place to spend its day

Looks nice but only toast well in the centre
2 months in and I have mixed feelings but ultimately wish I didn’t spend the money on it. I wanted a long slot toaster so we can toast oval type loafs of bread, unfortunately it manages to burn the ends every time. Two pieces of regular bread (one on each side, haven’t tried 4at the same time) works fine. Also defrost doesn’t seem to engage long enough.
