Easy to install, fit great. Took longer to get out of the box, than to install it.

Not as described on the website. I specifically picked this one for the hardware that was supposed to allow me to lock the sliding glass door to the pet patio door. Instructions were placed in the wrong order. It had me lock the height into place with screws before Installing brackets in the sliding glass door frame, making it almost impossible to slide the door back into place over top of the brackets. Top of pet patio door was already bent upon receipt. Does not install onto every sliding glass door well. My sliding glass door does not have a track at the top, so if it wasn't for the bracket weakly holding it into place with one maybe 1/4-1-2 inch screw, the patio door would slide back and forth on the top of the frame. With the bracket in place it does not sit flush with the slider door and the bottom bracket is too wide to be flush with the door because the track limits where it can sit. So the bottom bracket has a gap between itself and the door it screws in to. It also does not sit flush with the door jamb and I can see light through to the outside. The website states that it comes with hardware to lock your sliding glass door to your pet patio door but it does not. It comes only with a lock that can be installed against the stationary part of your slider to keep your sliding glass door from sliding open or closed. Unfortunately that is not the right size either and does not reach from the sliding glass door to the stationary part of my slider. So I got done installing it only to find out that I could not secure my sliding glass door at all. I then had to quickly find something approximately 24 inches in length to temporarily secure the door so that I could go to sleep that night. Not at all what I expected and I do not feel like it will keep out intruders or insects. Still trying to find a fix to make it safe enough to leave it in place.

With slider installed on door track, unable to lock sliding door. Have to place PVC pipe in the track to prevent it being opened. Company's solution for a lock is subpar. Wish dog door fit in the track of the screen, then I could still close and lock it.

This is one of the best purchases I have made. It is installed in the sliding glass doors in the sunroom. I had it installed for me and the installer was impressed with the pet door. There is a slight gap between the sliding door and the pet door, but that is because the sliding door is not straight. I have no complaint about that because it is an improvement over leaving the sliding door open or constantly having to open the sliding door for my dog to go out. Although I have a small dog, I purchased the extra large to accommodate larger visiting dogs. Training dogs to use the pet door takes time, especially if the dog has never used a dog door before. It took about a week before my neighbor's 12 year old dog felt comfortable using the new door. It has worked so well, my neighbor is getting a pet door for the sliding doors at her house.

It did fit lengthwise but could not use the brackets to secure the fit on my frame. The top spring fit piece is what holds this unit place with using backer rod foam I had on hand which I put on one side of unit(wall side) to keep centered on track. My dogs do love it after about three days of learning how to go in and out of the dog door!

This couldn't come fast enough. We have 3 dogs always wanting to go in and out. We visited a friends recently and they had this door. Since we have purchased no more constant up and downs with letting the pups out. Great quality

Easy to install. Dogs love it and so do I. Makes life easier !!

The only redeeming quality about this is that it is a door for a dog or cat. The brackets did not fit properly in my track, so I could not put the bottom one on. It needs weather stripping on both sides included as part of the product. It costs $40 to get that and if you don't it will seep both air and noise through the edges. The instructions are trash and include very few diagrams, the video was much better but was not included as part of the instructions. Fortunately it was on target's website. The door does not include a hole for any kind of latch and the lock that comes with it requires drilling into the stationary portion of the sliding glass door which does not work if you are renting. They should be including a bar instead of a lock as such. I only gave it two stars because it is a doggie door, but I almost would prefer to be able to put a hole in my wall than install this.

Perfect my furry friends. Great quality and easy to install. Love white color. Highly recommend for pet owners.

This door is not 96 inches. It's less than 81!

The information said it goes up to a 93 inch and actually it only goes up to 81 inches and some very misleading information on it

Great product at a good price. This is my second one gave it as a housewarming/wedding gift. Everyone is very pleased with the quality. Will buy again.

Easy to install even with an old house imperfect angles

I was disappointed that I had to pay a handy man to install this because it requires you to drill into your door frame. They should include more weather stripping because it was needed. The style of lock could break the glass so that’s kinda dumb. But a piece of wood in the door is just as good so oh well. But other than it’s a good quality and good looking door. I’d recommend this but only if I could include these warnings. The impression I got when shopping around is this is pretty much as good as it gets. None of the dog doors I looked at had (very many or) very bad reviews.

Love this door, ordering was easy and my package arrived on time!

Well made, easy to install. My golden retriever fits through the large side and was easy to train her to use it. However, if you live in even a remotely windy climate the door flap will not stay closed once your dog comes through. The magnet strip at the bottom isn't heavy enough to weight it down. We got this so our dog could go outside while we are gone but we aren't home to make sure it shuts. Since we live somewhere that it's windy almost everyday it's frustrating. I did by ceramic self adhesive weights to put onto the flap and that has helped when it's a breeze but with wind, it doesn't.

The door works fine. It isn't a perfect fit for a typical vinyl sliding glass door track. If you have a rail in your track and you place it on the rail, the door is thinner than the sliding glass door, so it sits in a way where neither outside nor inside connection is flush with existing door. I had to move it to be flush with the inside part which means it is kind of sitting on the middle bar in the track. The T bracket for the bottom didn't fit. it wouldn't allow the existing door to close. I had to cut it into an L bracket to make it work. Be prepared to add some foam to help seal the door to keep out bugs and weather. Also, it didn't come with a lock. you have to buy that separately. The only lock that really works is ok but barely fits. If I had the money I would have just had a custom door done to replace the existing sliding glass door. However, that is like 5x the price of this, so it works for the money.
