Franklin Wood and Metal 2 Drawer Coffee Table Oak/Black - Baxton Studio: Large Storage, Modern Design

The surface is cheap - it's printed wood texture and isn't durable. It quickly bubbled in a few places from cups without coasters, and after about a year the laminate is wearing through in areas that get more use. Love how it looks in the apt though.

Looks and works great. Came a little damaged in some corners but not to noticable so I didn’t feel the need to do a exchange.

This item looks nice, but the build quality is pretty awful. Half the pieces arrived damage. It's composed of the cheapest particle board with a very thin laminate vaneer. The pilot holes to attach the legs to the main piece are useless. It also appears a little grayer/cooler toned in person than the image shown for me. On the plus side, I was able to assemble it alone within an hour and the instructions were clear enough. I'd recommend having a second person just to hold larger pieces in place while locking things in.
